There's this time of year in Japan when the surroundings turn into a paradise of white hue.
The magic starts from the southwest, and goes up to the northeast... and further up, to the island of Hokkaido.

This is how you could enjoy viewing the cherry blossoms in Gyoda City, Japan!
(All pictures were taken exactly a month ago. As of this writing, the sakura or cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Hokkaido.)

Now, from YELLOW to WHITE!
I love these scenery of colors of flowers of Japan!

I'm doing this for a change... Most of us probably have this visual idea of Japan, being an icon of modern technology with high-rise buildings, robotics.... and not to mention anime! But behind all these, there is this genuine love and care for nature, so we could truly enjoy the four seasons that Japan is famous for. So, despite the hardships that the northeastern part has been experiencing these days, for as long as we can still enjoy the beauty of nature, there will always be hope for everyone. Nature is our past, present and future!

You're welcome!!! We can actually have something like that. A simple study of flowering plants that bloom at a particular season and let them flourish at one area... and viola! We'll have an area colored in a monochromatic way for a certain period of time! I actually planted my property in Negros with the golden shower trees, and I am really excited two to three years from now when these trees will start to bear flowers and it will be magical! Yellow-covered hill by the riverside!!!

There is this one park in Ibaraki Prefecture that is quite famous for the plum blossoms. The problem with that is, they don't usually bloom at the same time, unlike the cherry blossoms. So, if you could spot a tree with ultra-pink flowers, that would definitely be plum blossoms!

The fiery autumn leaves will be released during autumn season. I got lots of pics of Gyoda City's autumn foliage, as well as Karuizawa's fiery momiji (maple) leaves!!!

There's an abundance of beauty in any nook even in remote corners of the world. In New Jersey where I used to live, there's one park in the northeast I always visit this time of year because the area is planted to CB trees and when in bloom, the park is transformed into a stage where even jaded Japanese tourists flock to for viewing. I've lived in some desolate corners of Southern Saudi Arabia for a while, and owing to my wandering lust had walked the steppes of the Atlas Mountains in orange-hued Beni Mellal in Southeastern Morrocco between takes, and voila! in the onslaught of spring, as far as the eyes can see, signals a profusion of merry blooms blanketing the expanse of the desert, what beauty of life can't deny. Nature indeed has a unique way of providing and what a blessing that is!

I'd love to be there.. But I'm still in a search for my roots--I haven't met my full-blooded Japanese relatives... I wish this could just never be a dream for me...
