1. Clear judging score, systems and well deserved semifinalist...
2. High class fashion here, glamour galas
3. Great media coverage..
4. CLassy and breathtaking...

1. The most contestants, the most beautiful contestants. Only contest that is truly geographically diverse. It has nearly 50% more contestants than Miss Universe, and the national queens. That is a MATERIAL difference in my opinion.
2. MW is the high fashion, glamorous contest, not Miss Universe. Miss Universe has cheap polyester frocks - come on, for all you people who go on about Miss Universe being high fashion, compare that horrible "Bahamas Fashion made of sack cloth in a tent" with MW's incredible "golden" fashion show across three continents...
3. Much more media coverage for MW. And there is no comparison of the entire month run up. MW is so over the top glamorous, Miss Universe is well, on the decline. In 2006, they went to planet hollywood! Even most national contests do more.MW is full of galas, exciting pre-final contest, great clothes, multi-continent trips!!
4. Gorgeous, classy winners. And I like how MWO supports them and treats them with respect - look how she helped Ksenia complete her degree inspite of a very busy schedule, unlike Oxana, and there is no public humiiliation of winners like Zuly or Crystle or Tara.
5.Fair results, with equal success rates for big or small countries. Miss Universe may show scores, but that doesn't make last year's results fair. We all saw the prelims, and there is no way you can explain the exclusion of the entire Asian contingent. Or including girls like Hungary and Vietnam over say, Panama and India in 2008. Or advancing Miss USA no matter how short (Tara), fat (Chelsea) or flat footed (Rachael).
6. Class, class, class. No scandals or nude shots of winners here. Rather a mission that makes sense, and a true commitment to it.
7. Great clothes, great travel, all first class, for the winner. No overnight sleepovers on the airport floor and visiting local fireman and police galas in the home city with Miss Teen USA and USA in tow...
8. Where Miss Universe scores big time is a much more dynamic and interesting final show. That is the only thing that keeps it in the game. MW this year was more interesting, but it is not a competition, which makes it a bit dull. But I would venture to say that actually, the most interesting final show is not Miss Universe, which is so scripted, I can recite it in my sleep, but Miss Earth. So I think Miss Universe has lost that crown as well.
