Vanessa!!!!! ahora me vengo a enterar..... I love to see Setareh as the first runner up, she deserves it! They all looked facially beautiful but the dresses are horrible I would have thought that they would use something more glamorous and sparkly for the final night, and not those crappy looking dresses. Anyway, I love it that Vanessa won, not only because she was the best overall, but because she is from my beloved island! Y el esposo de Karol se quedó vestido y alborotado!

Super contento con la ganadora y con ver a Setareh como primera finalista.!!!!! La mejor gano!
Vanessa ahora se convierte en la mejor NBL.
Por otra parte era mas que obvio que la producción quiere chicas de otra nacionalidades, no mas boricuas ni mexicanas al parecer, porque como ven son las mas votos que reciben SIEMPRE. Querían coronal a Karol, era mas que obvio, pero el voto del publico es el que manda. Ahora toman la opcion de los "casting" internacionales para poder coronal a una Venezolana. De seguro ya Osmel la esta entrenando. Aun asi espero ver a una dominicana coronándose, preferiblemente de raza negra.

Vanessa has been the talk of the day since yesterday here in PR, everybody is celebrating, everybody feels we won MU. OMG but i'm so happy! We really needed something like this to forget about the freaking bad things happening in this country and to change the freaking subject about Politics that has been the freaking talk for months since the elections are in November, Vanessa gave us a little moment to celebrate, and as Puerto Ricans, we celebrate everything.

Dude, he has used that shirt a million times!!!!! He even used it at the final of MUPR 2012, and there's pictures of him using it as Mr. PR, in an official shoot, I think that's his official shirt.

Does anybody know why Melissa Marty and Greidys Gil did not attend the event yesterday? Usually, all the queens go every year. Also, I saw Greidys Gil in a Telemundo novela the other day. Is that why?

On the other hand guys, I found out that NBL is actually a sucessor of a pageant known as Nuestra Belleza Internacional which was also headed by Osmel Souza.

Damn, the Senate of Puerto Rico will give a recognition to Vanessa and they plan to give a big Welcoming to her (a lo MU )and they invited Univision to make the next season of NBL here in PR. We took this victory of Vanessa more serious than I thought.

La senadora Lornna Soto presenta resolución de felicitación

La senadora del Distrito de Carolina, Lornna Soto Villanueva quiere que la ganadora de Nuestra Belleza Latina, Vanessa de Roide, sea recibida por todo lo alto y reconocida por el Senado de Puerto Rico. Además, pide que próximo concurso se lleve a cabo en Puerto Rico.

“Estamos muy contento con el logro de Vanessa, esta joven de 24 años que se convirtió en la sexta reina del concurso, y la segunda puertorriqueña en recibir ese tremendo galardón. Así que deseo que la joven sea recibida por todo lo alto, es por esto que estaré radicando una resolución de felicitación para que el Senado de Puerto Rico reconozca el desempeño de esta joven que representó mi distrito de Carolina”, manifestó Soto.

“El juez Osmel Sousa me tenia los pelos de punta, pero cuando dijo que el 32 por ciento de los votos de la audiencia fueron para Vanessa todos en casa brincamos de la alegría. Mi felicitaciones también a su madre, familiares, amigos y fanáticos por ese apoyo incondicional que le dieron desde el primer día a esta joven. Hoy Puerto Rico brilla ante el mundo gracias al desempeño de Vanessa, que se que su futuro será brillante. Que Dios la Bendiga y adelante”

Por último, la Senadora Lornna Soto felicitó a los organizadores del concurso y le hizo una petición. “Felicito a Univision por este programa que nos une como pueblo y trae tanta alegría a los hogares. Pero espero que el próximo año hagan en Puerto Rico todo el concurso, y si es el Distrito de Carolina mucho mejor. Nuestra Isla tiene todos los atributos, capacidad y recursos para que se pueda dar este concurso.”

Nunca sigo este concurso para nada, pero con todo el mundo hablando de eso fue imposible no ver alguito.. De las que vi Vanessa era la más bella.. Pero leeeeeeeejos. Merecido que haya ganado pero yo la quería ver en Miss Intercontinental

yo empeze a ver el programa el ano pasado
pero este ano cuando supe que vanessa iba a competir
me dije no me lo pierdo, y me encanto, estubo
muy entretenido. y es que este certamen no tiene nada
que envidiarle a MU, se llevan la misma cantida de dinero
250.000, premios y contratos para diversos eventos.
