With nothing much to do this pandemic days, let's gear up for another year of Prediction Games. Welcome to MISSOSOLOGY PREDICTION GAMES 2021! Same as the previous years, female and male prediction games are merged into one. Rules will be retained with few updates so please check them out. Everyone can participate anytime they want as no registration required. At the end of the season, player with the highest cumulative score wins and will be part of the illustrious PG Champions! Participants with non Predictionist tag who enter the Top 10 of the leaderboard will receive a tag upgrade (Predictionist). Participants with Predictionist tag who are inactive in the games for 3 years will be demoted (except the Champions). So, gear up as the quest for the next ULTIMATE PAGEANT PREDICTIONIST begins!

GAME RULES:

1. Participants should religiously follow and use the Official Entry Sheet. Any format other than the required format by the Game Master will be disqualified.

2. Participants must write what is asked in the Official Entry Sheet. Participants will be asked to always write the PG assigned numbers or official numbers of the candidates including some of the following:

NAME
PLACE REPRESENTED
SUMMARIZED OFFICAL NUMBER OR PG ASSIGNED NUMBER

Failure to write what is asked in the Official Entry Sheet will be disqualified.

3. In cases where the "NAME/NUMBER/PLACE REPRESENTED" of the candidate is doubled in the entry, the entry will be disqualified.

4. In cases where the "NAME/NUMBER/PLACE REPRESENTED" of the candidate does not correspond to each other, the entry will be disqualified.

5. In case the SUMMARY of the "OFFICIAL NUMBERS OR PG ASSIGNED NUMBERS" is not encoded in the entry, the entry is still valid as long as the said numbers are still included in the main entry.

5. If the participant has multiple entries, the latest entry will be considered and scored.

6. While full efforts are being made to provide the complete list of the candidates in the official PG thread of a particular pageant before the thread will be posted, it is still the participants' responsibility to conduct research for the completeness or any changes in the line-up of the candidates. In cases where new candidates are added and the participants wants to include them in their entries, just write directly the "NAME/NUMBER/PLACE REPRESENTED" of the candidate.

7. PG thread can be requested to be created at least THREE days before the coronation night.

8. To resolve issues on pre-taped pageants and edit time stamp concern of the last entry posted, all PGs will be locked 2 DAYS EARLIER prior to staging / airing of the actual pageant at 6 PM Manila - Philippines time.

9. In cases wherein locking of the PG thread is late by several hours, entries posted and edited after the closing time will still be accepted.

10. Scoring format per game may change depending on the actual result and number of the candidates in a pageant comes coronation night. If the actual turn-out is less than the expected number as listed in the PG thread, scoring format remains the same. Otherwise the scoring format will be upgraded.



SCORING SYSTEM:

1. No. of Candidates | 10 and below

Winner: 100 pts for correct placement / 50 pts for wrong placement
1st Runner-Up: 80 pts for correct placement / 40 pts for wrong placement
2nd Runner-Up: 60 pts for correct placement / 30 pts for wrong placement
3rd Runner-Up: 40 pts for correct placement / 20 pts for wrong placement
4th Runner-Up: 30 pts for correct placement / 10 pts for wrong placement
*Rest of Top 5: 30 pts for correct placement / 10 pts for wrong placement

*If 3rd and 4th Runners-up are not announced.

2. No. of Candidates | 11 to 20

Winner: 200 pts for correct placement / 100 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 50 pts if placed as semifinalist
1st Runner-Up: 170 pts for correct placement / 85 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 40 pts if placed as semifinalist
2nd Runner-Up: 140 pts for correct placement / 70 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 30 pts if placed as semifinalist
3rd Runner-Up: 110 pts for correct placement / 55 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 20 pts if placed as semifinalist
4th Runner-Up: 80 pts for correct placement / 40 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 10 pts if placed as semifinalist
*Rest of Top 5: 100 pts for correct placement / 50 pts if wrong placement in Top 5 / 25 pts if placed as semifinalist

Zero Rule #1: If the winner of a pageant is not included in the participant's entry, participant will automatically get zero score.
Zero Rule #2: If the participant's winner in the entry sheet is not included in the actual Top 15/16/25, participant will automatically get zero score.

SCORE SPECIFICS:

1. If the actual pageant chooses FEWER runners up than the PG asks for, the additional runners up from the PG entries will be disregarded.

Example: If the PG has 4 RUs but the actual pageant has only 3 RUs, then the 4th RU in your PG list is omitted.

2. If the actual pageant chooses MORE runners up than the PG asks for, the additional runners up from the pageant will be disregarded.

Example: If the PG has 4 RUs but the actual pageant has 5 RUs, then the 5th RU from the pageant will not count.

3. If the PG asks for 4 RUs but the pageant chooses only 2 RUs and Rest of Top 5, then the points for to the Rest of Top 5 will apply.

4. If a PG has Rest of Top 5 but the pageant has Rest of top 7, then as we do not know which finalists placed 4th of 5th, we will treat all the remaining finalists as Rest of Top 5.

5. If a contestant in your Rest of Top 5 makes the actual Rest of Top 7/8, you will get points for correct placement.

Example: If your winner or 1st RU or 2nd RU make the Rest of Top 7 /8, you will get points for incorrect placement.

6. If the PG format includes one winner/title followed by runners up but the actual pageant distributes multiple titles, then the second and third titles in the pageant will correspond to the 1st and 2nd RUs in the PG and so on. In other words, the second highest placement in the pageant (regardless of whether it is a title or RU) will correspond to the second highest placement in the PG, and so on.

7. If the hierarchy of titles or RU positions is unclear, then their order of importance will be determined by the reverse order in which they are announced.

8. If the format of a pageant is different from the format of the prediction game , the Game Master will decide the score system format at his discretion.

Been doing that in the past. I'm not sure with the previous game master but I think I did some adjustments in the scoring format of international pageants having more than 70 candidates.

Hello Ian, I agree that some earlier seasons had better participation, but it's not just the PG Master's job to drum up more excitement. He does a lot as it is!

Miss Earth USA is already locked but I think, there will be an issue coz they have listed 47 I think but only 34 delegates showed up. I was not able to submit my entry coz of this issue and I was also busy updating the thread. I hope PG Master reopens it to correct the entries but we only have until Jan 16 to do that.
