The Theatrical Challenge, designed to help the girls better express themselves on stage, is also part of the competition this year. Actor and producer Mourad Khane was invited to test and help enhance each girl’s performance in this field.

Contestant Manel Ougaida appeared on a brief live today to thank all her fans for their support. Through some questions, she revealed that she joined Miss Algeria because it was her childhood dream and if she wins, she hopes to use the title in anyway to help and unite the Algerian people. She also confirmed that the winner should be competing in Miss World this year. While not allowed to give any details about the finale, she said the preparations are nearing their end and the coronation is happening very soon.
