WHY MISS UNIVERSE ESPECIALLY? THE PAGEANT IS GOING DOWN THE DRAIN BIG TIME, THEY CAN'T EVEN MANAGE TO FIND A HOST FOR THIS YEARS PAGEANT..... LOOK AT MISS WORLD, THEY ALREADY HAVE HOST COUNTRIES FOR 2013 AND 2015.... TALKS ABOUT 2014 IN THE PHILIPPINES ARE UNDERWAY... DONALD TRUMPH HAS SENT MISS UNIVERSE ORGANIZATION TO THE GUTTER......plus i believe it's a bias pageant that just wants sex appeal and nothing else. The Miss World organization has raised over 290 pounds for charity, what does miss universe do? put their girls to pose in magazine? thats a joke!!!

OSMEL REALLY HAS AN EYE FOR IT!!

BUT I WANNA ASK SUMTHIN, IF THE GIRLS ELECTED FROM THE BEACH CITY OF MARACAIBO OR SOME VILLAGES IN TACHIRA AND HAVE TO PACK THEIR BAGS TO ATTEND THE CLASSES IN CARACAS, WHERE THEY GONNA STAY ?? LA QUINTA IS A TINY BUILDING RITE ?? AND WHO GONNA PAY THEIR DAILY FOOD IN CARACAS ?

In my opinion I always figured Osmel wanted a girl with a hot body and sweet personality, which he later achieved with Dayana Mendoza. Although he probably realized too late that Jictzad was just to muscular to achieve the look he wanted. As for Susan, I actually liked her. She was really sexy and Osmel probably wanted to stand out in MW by sending a sexy contestant, different from the sweet-cookie cutter. But she was tooo sexy and overly scandalized. :-O

maybe its just me Osmel is still racist in some ways. For example many of the dark skin girls he picks has fine features. Every is it me but was Miss Miranda 2012 look like a blond Carolina Indriago. I saw a picture in the Nueva era forum and went wow so true

I love the fact that "everyone wins" in Miss Venezuela.
They are really serious about improvement, success and perfection.

I hope someday there will be someone like Osmel that would make a difference in the selection process of my country's representative to international pageants.

Dear Latination, my most sincere congratulations, this is undoubtedly the most fabulous thread until I had the pleasure of reading since I belong to Missology forum, as Venezuela is more than revealing understand the magnitude of perfection that has reached the Miss Venezuela, and if I could stay before any lingering doubts about the quality of the successes of the Miss Venezuela Organization, after reading this issue has been literally vanished. I sincerely hope that the many detractors who is the Miss Venezuela finish understand that all his successes and triumphs are neither by chance nor by strategies "dishonest", the 60-year history that this great pageant has NOT been in vain, and all his victories have been achieved with total and absolute right to say that we have worked with all seriousness by a clear goal: WINNING. :)>-

So before you get rid of insults and obvious signs of pure envy so the representatives of Venezuela have managed, achieve and succeed in the beauty contests, engage those insults and sarcastic comments to their own national beauty contests or rather to the how these are carried out to see if this finally achieve true there is a change to allow the representative of his country, not only can excel, but end up winning.

Learn from the example, is all I can say...

Greetings. :=p

Venezuela is indeed the "Beauty Queen Manufacturer of the World?
But is there a negative implication of this in terms of the Values that the young generation of Venezuelans may cquire?

I had a first-hand conversation with a Venezuelan just 3 weeks ago in our office. He is one of our engineering managers but still young at 37 (and he's hot hot hot) ahehehe. He treated us to a free lunch because according to him, we are his 'favorite group" in the project.
When we were heading back to the office after lunch, our forgetful lead engineer asked him if he is from Colombia. This was the conversation:
EM: No, no, I'm from Venezuela.
LE: Oh, the beauty queen capital of the world!
EM: Yeah, Philippines almost won also last year right?
(I was silent the whole time because I don't want them to know that I'm a pageant fanatic ahahaha)
Colleague 1: Is it true that Miss Venezuelas are surgically enhanced?
EM: Yes they are. Actually in Venzuela, the competition is "how you are made" and not anything else.
But they really WORK HARD for it. That makes it alright.
The bad thing is, the young kids in Venezuela think that that is the most important thing in this world already.
One day, all the youth in my country will loose the true value of being a person, just being who they really are.
It's pretty sad, but it's reality.

When I asked him when was the last time he went home to Venezuela, he said "3 years ago".
Maybe that is the reason why he only want his kids to be brought up and reared in the US or somewhere else but not Venezuela.
His 2 kids are currently studying in Brent International School.

The good thing about most Venezuelans is that, most of them have nice personality, and they are easy to get along with.
That is one factor that most Venezuelan queens possess that can never be modified by science.

Children are the messages we send to a time we'll never see.

Unfortunately in just over a decade almost all Venezuelans who may have chosen to leave it in Venezuela, not because that was their main goal or ambition, perhaps many of them not even until not long ago have had no idea of leaving in your country (and thus all that that implies) but simply because life in Venezuela has become, in these slightly more than 10 years, almost intolerable by many factors, all related in large part by the terrible mismanagement of the current Venezuelan government truly believe has been perhaps the most pernicious that we have had since Venezuela is a democracy, however, does not pretend to enter into political discussions in this thread and this forum is not interested or are irrelevant, but inevitably end up doing the references as well as indirectly, as a Venezuelan who has lived all his life in Venezuela, which currently has neither the intention nor the resources to seriously consider leaving the country, I have to say that many of my compatriots who have decided to leave Venezuela have done looking for a better and brighter future than the current Venezuelan government is offering to its people, is understandable in most cases, life really Venezuela in the last 13 years, almost 14, has become very difficult, so everyone who can tries to get away, and if possible with his family, what a country has become almost intolerable.

While I understand the position of many of these Venezuelans who have gone in search of a better life not only for themselves but for their children in other countries, sincerely believe that the fact of leaving is not contributing anything to help solve the problem background, I do not run is the only solution, but clearly it is the easiest and most prefer to take it despite all the sacrifices that eventually they will demand, which is very sad because it seemed to affirm the bit that hurts their own country and the people they leave behind ... well, in any case everyone does what it believes is best for you and yours and I guess it always will be, with or without reviews ... :(

Though I already know the process, I still took the time to read your post because I knew that I would enjoy it. I felt like I was there in Venezuela while reading your post.
