If you were the judge: Possible Final Questions at ME 2015

Postby ajsy0203 » Tue Dec 01, 2015 1:22 pm

If you were the judge, what would be your final question to the Top 8 finalists at Miss Earth 2015?

Note: In the last 3 pageants, the final questions do not necessarily related to environmental issues, non-environmental issues are also asked during the coronation night like "What is your defining moment as a woman?" or "Have beauty pageants lost its relevance?"

Everyone is aware of the climate change. What change have you experienced in participating Miss Earth pageant that you wish to impart to everyone?

How would you explain climate change to a 7 year old?
I don't care if anyone does not like me. I was not born in this world to entertain everyone.

"Given the significant financial resources needed to mount viable and necessary environmental projects that would benefit the country, should the United States continue devolving tax dollars on non-economically-performing territories such as Puerto Rico instead of toward more productive entities?"

These questions might sound silly BUT I would totally ask these questions and any beauty queen who try to answer them seriously and coherently will be given 1500 points!

1) Some speculate that self-navigating vehicles will be commonplace in the near future, what do you think would be the environmental impact of such technology?

2) Give an example of an element from the periodic table formulated by Dmitri Mendeleev and what is its importance?

3) What is the significance of human technology in the anthropocene epoch?

4) Describe an ecological niche found in your country and how is it unique?

5) Give an example of an indigenous species found in you country and explain its beauty or function.

6) Is human symbiotic relationship with other species natural? Does it matter?

7) Are polystrate fossils legitimate scientific concepts? Explain.

8 ) What is your opinion about the use of recombinant DNA to improve GMO crops?
