I second this! Why not coconut? Paging Carousel. It's about time, I guess. Caring for the environment should be for all. While USA has done it, Carousel can adapt same system to provide an avenue for these women to present their advocacies in the global arena. For sure Carousel can find sponsors in the Philippines to mount these divisions (maybe Teens and Mrs first) knowing nauuso ngayon ang Mrs. pageants in the Philippines.

I still remember the unfair criticisms hurled against Laura when she took over the franchise. But she must have taken some lessons from the Carousel playbook. One secret to Miss Earth’s success is how Carousel treats the delegates with kindness and respect. This is why Miss Earth gets a lot of good reviews and high marks from the women after the pageant (with very few exceptions from sore losers). I see the same thing happening at MEUSA. The women really enjoy their pageant experience which is why many choose to return. If there is an award for the nicest pageant out here, I betcha MEUSA will be very much in the running based on everyone’s feedbacks. So kudos to the people behind the org.
I got the impression from Carousel’s head honchos based on previous statements that running MPE and ME is already a full time job. So producing a Teen and/or Mrs pageant might prove overwhelming. However, they can always have others take charge I suppose like what IMG did to Miss/Teen USA. Perhaps they can ask former Filipino Earth Queens on who might take interest. Imagine Queen Karen running Miss Teen Earth pageant.
