It was December 2019 when the application for Miss Philippines Earth 2020 started, and after six months, may we present to you the final hot picks of the MPE Council which consists of Missosology's Predictionists and Earthlings.
Thirty-three eco-angels showcased their beauty, talent, wit, elegance and sexiness. The final hot picks is based on the three prejudging events of Fitness, Form and Poise, Beauty of Face and Intelligence and Environmental Awareness. Moreover, Attitude, Personality and Over-all Impact, a special round of competition which considered all their performances in the mini-competitions is also a basis for the final hot picks. Open voting is done which gave the Top 10 fan favorites additional points in their final average scores.
After a careful deliberation, the #MPEcouncil presents this final hot picks.
MISS PHILIPPINES EARTH: Baguio City | Roxie Baeyens
Roxie is the face of the competition. She actually topped the Beauty of Face prejudging. She's definitely sexy, beautiful and intelligent. Being in the Top 10 in all the preliminaries, and based on the final average scores, she is slaying the competition. According to the council, she is our Miss Philippines Earth 2020! - SENYORA GAGA
MISS PHILIPPINES AIR: Atimonan, Quezon | Shane Tormes
Shane Tormes may not be the best facially in this year's batch but there is no denying that she's unstoppable. She nailed all the preliminaries especially her interview round. Her eloquence, confidence, and sincerity to MPE's mission is commendable. Her aura reminds me of previous successful MPE titleholders who clinched the ME crown. Shane is one of the gem in this batch of Eco-angels and she trully deserves to have one of the main titles of MPE 2020. - Ea'rend¿l
MISS PHILIPPINES WATER: Daraga, Albay | Patrixia Santos
Patrixia Santos, from the land of Beauty Queens. A pageant veteran. A beauty that can not be ignored! Versatile. She defines Beauty with Brains! Great communication skills. She is ready to embrace the Earth with her Angel wings! Definitely a worthy successor! - isotopes
MISS PHILIPPINES FIRE: General Santos City | Arielle Roque
Arielle for me embodies the characteristics of a “fighter”, just like her kababayan Manny Pacquiao. Hearing her talk during the intelligence round was like watching Pacman’s confidence in the boxing ring. For me, her answer to the last question had sealed the deal for her to be at least in the top 16. If this lady manages to reach the hashtags round, getting an elemental title is not a far-fetched idea. - Geeyourhair
MISS PHILIPPINES ECO TOURISM: City of Manila | Justiene Ortega
Known as the Solar Queen, I love her advocacy for renewable energy. This is a good alternative for some power resources that we get from sources that might affect our earth. I watched her during preliminary judging and I can say that she can be a good speaker for mother earth. She is articulate and knowledgeable about the environment. - supladoman
RUNNERS-UP:
6. Mandaluyong City | Gianna Llanes
If there is one candidate that Miss Philippines Earth hopefuls should watch out, then it would be Miss Mandaluyong. Her bubbliness based on how she answered questions will put her on top. After all, Miss Earth is looking for a great speaker. Besides this attribute her beauty is so natural, not manufactured. Indeed a rare gem in this era of pageantry. She's an Art in an array of Sciences. - mybadname
7. Fil-Dubai, UAE | Miah Llanes
I believe that if Fil Dubai is properly trained, she can give honors to our country in international stage. Her Filipina looks just like Janine Tugonon will be a hit. She just needs to polish her interview. - manoypoe
8. Fil-Melbourne, Australia | Ilyssa Mendoza
Ilyssa’s life changed after she won the MPE-Melbourne pageant. She describes herself as a hard worker who likes to dwell on the positive. Fans started to notice her after she won several pre-pageant medals and after she was chosen as one of Hana’s top ten. I believe she did well enough in the three pre-judging events to ensure a semifinal placement. Considered a darkhorse, she could capture one of the elemental crowns if she makes it as far as the hashtag segment of the competition. - Handsama
9. Sta. Rosa City | Hannah Meriño
Hannah is an average and forgettable beauty but she redeemed herself in the other two preliminary sections, especially in the intelligence preliminary. She talked with smartness and passion and she showed she was a true eco-angel! Her delivery was great and she didn't overdo it! Bravo Hannah! - Thomas876
10. Opol, Misamis Oriental | Isobel Teaño
For Miss Opol, Misamis Oriental, my fellow kababayan. I am also from Cagayan de Oro City. She is really pretty. I like her walk, her smile, her confidence on stage or probably her presence. I understand she needs to step up more in the game. I want her to show something unique. I want her to relax when it comes to the Q & A. She needs to think clearly on her answers, not on a patty pageant thing. But honestly I see something on her. MPE might be a stepping stone. I hope she gets into the Top 4 in the Coronation night. - radagasdas
WILDCARDS
11. Fil-Florida, USA | Shannen Mann
Shannen Mann is a dark horse in the competition. She is facially beautiful with a decent body and pasarela. She did quite well in all the prejudging events, but something is missing with her. I believe it's the drive or fighting spirit. She sometimes looks lifeless. - bakekang
12. South Cotabato | Alayzza Tolimao
South Cotabato came as a surprise in this competition. She may look soft, but has a fighting aura. She may be one of the youngest delegates, but still managed to shine. The deal was sealed for her during the intelligence round which I think she aced. I love her passion. If she will not be able to win this pageant, she have a great potential to do well in other pageants she may join in the future. - CamAngel123
13. General Trias City | Rosene Bernardo
She was one of the beauties who stood out very well in the Beauty of Face Prejudging Round. She is soft spoken. It would not be a disappointment if she ever make it in the Top 10. - SENYORA GAGA
14. Parañaque City | Alexandra Bobadilla
Interview seemed to be her waterloo. When asked about the overpopulation problem in the Philippines and if she were in favour about a law restricting a family to a maximum of two-to-three children, she didn't answer this question with a "yes" or "no" and why so. Instead, she gave us a rundown that overpopulation caused overconsumption that limited our resources and that our government should educate us with alternatives to provide for the country. - mrgary
15. Quezon City | Angeline Santos
She has a pretty face but a wider one, and regarding her interview I find her very engaging just needs to tone down a bit so that it comes out naturally. During her swimsuit round, she needs more discipline in what she is eating because she still have body fats. - artaestes
