Okay so we all have our theories and conspiracies on what really went on at the Miss World pageant. Missosologists of various levels of "tags" bickered and bantered over whether or not the Miss World Organization is "rigged" or not.
I, myself questioned these and someone who actually attended provided some fascinating backstage scenes.
Passionate fans accused another of "sourgraping" while others perceived it as pure "speculations." The TRUTHS are revealed by someone who attended the event. The TRUTHS are the following:
1. Miss United States was booed by the audience. (confirmed: Yes)
2. Miss United States and Botswana were not congratulated. (confirmed: Yes)
3. Venezuela was congratulated by most candidates. (confirmed: Yes)
4. Miss World Organization is “political and financial $.” (confirmed: Yes)
5. Maltreatments of candidates. (confirmed: Not Always)
On the actual pageant (all shared and confirmed):
6. Judges never took a single vote or note.
7. The piece of paper Morley had in her hand was BLANK !
8. A contestant caught a conversation between Julia Morley and an executive producer told her that if she wanted Miss United States to win Alexandria Mills has to have her hair pulled back. A couple of minutes later Alexandria was called in by one of the hairdressers and he pulled her hair back.
In this picture, you could see Miss United States with her hair down. They were just waiting for the show to begin.
In this picture, Alexandria Mills had her hair perfectly pulled back.
9. The contestants all knew Miss United States was going to win.
10. Before they announced the winner China, Ireland, and USA were left. The contestants knew who was going to win but they were still cheering and hoping for Ireland to win.
11. Most contestants didn't like Miss United States. Wales who was her roommate hardly spoke to her.
12. The next day not one contestant or person in the hotel took a picture with Miss World 2010 and you couldn't miss her with the tiara and sash.
So these are what happened at this year’s Miss World. Whether you believe them are not, I could careless.
Regardless, I am still happy Miss United States won!
