They always send a well-trained girl but I want more educated women. Like Karen Ibasco but of coast more beautiful (just my opinion)

She was #Binibini5 during this year’s national finals at the Big Dome. Let’s see what else this beautiful and kind-hearted lady still has to offer to the World.
Rose Marie Flores Murphy, 26, comes from Agusan del Norte. Of half-Filipino, half-American mix, she was born in the US but raised here in the Philippines. A registered nurse by profession, she is currently working at Butuan Medical Center.
#HerAdvocacy:
“Some people may ask me why are you working in a government hospital? Why not private? I just simply say that serving people in need has a special place in my heart. As a nurse, and a public servant at that, I feel that I can help more people as a public health nurse than in a private hospital. It is harder to work in a public hospital due to the sheer number of patients but the feeling of being able to help ordinary Filipinos is an honor on its own.”
“For more than a year of public service as a city nurse and someone who’s used to living in a barrio, I have observed that one of the major health problems in rural communities is the lack of health awareness and the importance of preventive health care especially in cases of tuberculosis (TB) and hypertension. Based on statistics, 73 die in a day due to TB. It is the fifth leading cause of death here in the country. On the other hand, hypertension is the most common medical condition linked to lifestyle and is the number six leading cause of death. TB is an infectious disease that can be lethal if taken for granted but can be cured and managed if the person is willing to undergo early medication. That is why, a group of health professionals and I continuously conduct health education to our patients and expanding our advocacy on urban and rural communities to foster health awareness since we all know that prevention is better than cure.”
