The recent Miss World 2012 was one heck of a rollercoaster I feel like vomiting after the ride. 
I had a lot of WTH and OMG moments while watching it and reading some updates. The pageant is technically very good; the stage, the production, and the hosts aren’t that bad. Aside from being a beauty pageant it is also a cultural showcase to all the viewers with the Dances of the World portion and the presentation of the Chinese and Mongolian cultures which gave us that Asian vibe and feeling. And just like in any other beauty pageants, the best girl is crowned last.
There are more than a hundred girls who competed but only one will take home the crown and it is the delegate from China PR Wen Xia Yu who succeeded Ivian Sarcos of Venezuela as the new Miss World. It was “controversial” because another Chinese girl is crowned on the Chinese soil. Some say it’s like a déjà vu on what happened last 2007. Some also say that this year’s pageant screams politics and a lot of beautiful girls were out.
In this thread I will list the ladies which, IMO, should have placed higher:

Colombia (Barbara Turbay)
But of course! How can such a super beauty not able to make it? She is foreseen as one of the frontrunners throughout the pageant but she is nowhere in the Top 15. I am not her biggest fan but I recognize her huge potential and overall beauty.
Their gorgeousness that weren't able to penetrate the Top 7:
Mexico (Mariana Berumen Reynoso)
I am one of those you consider as a silent fan for this girl. I just like everything about her and she will always be pretty in my eyes. And just like Colombia, she is foreseen as a frontrunner throughout the competition. The lowest placement I thought for her is 2nd princess. Her exclusion is one of the biggest robberies in this edition of the Miss World!
Philippines (Queenie Rehman)
How could I forget my girl! She is one of my sentimental favorites along with Mexico. I will never forget how queenly and fresh she looked during the introductions. I am actually happy with her placement on the Top 15. But I believe, just like Mexico, she also deserved a spot on the Top 7. She did very well on the fast tracks too. The thing that I still cannot accept is that China PR bagged the Talent award instead of Queenie. This is another one of those biggest robberies!

South Sudan (Atong Demach)
Before the pageant proper I didn’t know her. lol But I fell for her beauty when I saw her in motion. She’s really like a black Barbie doll and she deserves the Top Model Award. Her answer is straight from the heart.
India (Vanya Mishra)
What a beauty! I was not a big fan but I became one when I saw her in motion and hear her speak. She was very beautiful during the pageant night. Her command in the English language is just awesome and I like her answer. Congratulations for winning the BWAP and Multimedia Award!
The goddesses who deserve the crown more:
Australia (Jessica Kahawaty)
My main bet for the crown after the announcement of the Top 7. She may look kinda weird sometimes with her eyes but I gotta say that she has one of the most beautiful and charming smile among the other girls. She is consistent in the fast track events and one of the things I really like about her is her articulation.
Wales (Sophie Moulds)
Her eyes.. I could stare at it all day.
Her answer is pretty good for me. I like her beauty and her body is just wow. No wonder she won the Beach Fashion. She was my second choice for the crown next to Australia. 
PS: I’m torn between Australia, Wales, South Sudan and India.
