First and foremost I would like to say Congratulations to Vanya Mishra. She may not able to take the crown but we knew that she deserved it big time. I knew from the start she will go far but sadly she was robbed. I hope this will be a great start for the Indians delegates of any International pageant.

So instead of being sad let's rejoice for Vanya's placement in top 7 and for winning two fast track events. Congratulations again Vanya

First of all I want to say thank you so much for making this thread. Vanya did a great job. She surprised me. People who said she was going to clap, eat your hearts out! She looked great and she did her absolute best. So CONGRATULATIONS Vanya. Congrats to all the girls!

Those are acheievements on their own.
It was an entertaining show this year. Lots of surprises and shocks. A lot of the girls who were overhyped on missosology didn't make it and many of the underhyped girls went very far. And the winner was a shock for me, but I guess when you think about where it was hosted it's not much of a shock. It just goes to show you how unpredictable Miss World or any international beauty pageant can be.

Im so proud of Vanya shes made us indians worldwide really proud.. when she was crowned miss india she was bashed left right centre called the worst miss india.. called ugly,called fat the list goes on!!! she was called a clapper and wasnt really on many people's top 20 list!! she shined so bright placed in top 40 Top Model, top 40 Beach Fashion, came 6th in Interview, was chosen for dances of the world, WON Multi Media, WON Beauty with Purpose and topped the top 15 round coming 1st!! that in itself is a great achievement... in my opinion south sudan, india and wales gave the best answers... i really thought vanya was going to win or even get 1st runner up.. o well im still proud of her for putting india back on the miss world map after 2 years of non placements x

for me, vanya shines the brightest during the finals night. her beauty with a purpose is very inspiring. getting the multimedia award also signifies that she is indeed a woman of substance. her beauty, elegance and big smile radiates not only in the pageant venue but felt as well the sincerity here at home while watching. vanya is my miss world 2012. the result may be disappointing but i believe she's sport enough to accept the result. way to go vanya. congratulations.
