Well this is not the first time it happens, in 2006 there were 20 contestants selected for Beach Beauty but later 5 girls were added to make the list into 25.

My theory is …. I think the winner for Talent has actually been selected during the 2 round of auditions, as well as the final placement from 1st – 25th place for Talent category. The 15 finalists chosen were merely given the honour to perform in front of the live audience. So after the best 15 chosen to perform and there is still time left for 1 extra performance in talent show, MWO can easily pick the 16th rank – which is US Virgin Islands – to fill the spot.

If I am not wrong Sierra Leone arrives late, right? (As far I know she did not participate in WFDA event in Shanghai). In that case my theory is … MWO has set an audition for Talent and pick 24 semis before Sierra Leone arrived. When Sierra Leone arrived, she was given a second chance for Talent and she delivered, thus MWO put her as the 25th. During the 2nd part of audition, she joined the other 24 who was selected earlier and lucky for her, she was one of the 14 best performers in the 2nd audition. Thus she is enlisted as finalist.

If my theory above is correct, I have a small complain for MWO. I think as a late entry, Sierra Leone should not be given a second chance for Talent audition. It would be unfair for the rest of the girls who arrive on time, right? … But maybe her talent is just damn too good that MWO just could not ignore her.

However, I really feel that MW is quite unprofessional.
As far as, I've seen...
- Event schedule keeps changing day by day!
- No certain rules for selecting contestants in each fast track.
- Numbers of qualifiers seem depended on someone!! ><"
- Julia's always showing up herself often. Latest, I saw her photo with Ms China cutting a BIG cake, while Ms. Turkey was send a piece of cake into her room (the same day.. ) Hmm.. - -"
- Some contestants are incredible like Australia, Philippines, Brazil.. But, HOW ABOUT MONGOLIA ? .. OMG >__<"

Just my personal thoughts And I hope we see all the finalists and winners who are acceptable!!

I feel the same way. MW is unprofessional. I also believe that MW is quite biased. I think MW favors some countries.
I kinda also disapprove with the new Multimedia Award. I feel it is just another excuse to boost their favorite contestant up. I'm sure they'll choose someone who they favor the most to win this award.[/b][/size][/color][/font]

Yeah, and Thailand may not win this award.. I can't find any rules that make me feel so sure

I admit that MW is not a perfect pageant but I won't say it is unprofessional. Even at the smallest event, sometimes things happen and you are forced to make a change of plan. I believe MW, a grand event with more than 100 participants, face even a bigger possibility of things go wrong, and when that happens, they have to change the plan. However I still have faith in MWO. They have showed us, in 2002, despite a major problem in supposedly host nation Nigeria that time, they still manage to pull it and deliver a great final.

As for biased .... I think every pageant in the world is biased at some degree. I won't be surprised if some undeserving contestants go further than the so-called Goddess. it happens in MW, in MU, and in all other pageants. But hopefully the winner for 2012 will still be a Goddess tough LOL.
