With about 47 respondents from different members of the forum - Ambassadors, Pageant Experts and Apprentices, Pageant Historians, Missosologists, Superstars, Elites, among others, the Le Chateau De Soucalembogerie is proud to present its HOTPICKS for Miss World 2012. Conducted between August 3 and 5, Team Le Chateau invited all forum members to cast their nominees for the hotpicks.
To sum up, Philippines got the highest scores and votes with 18/47 respondents favoring her as Miss World. Although China PR was never nominated in Top 1 position, she had however the strongest Top 2-3 backing, thus, earning her higher scores. Colombia, Wales and Mexico are not lagging behind as they show strong positions and placements in top spots too. Colombia had 5/47, Wales 6/47, and Mexico at 3/47 as favored for Miss World but Colombia edged Wales on other positions, thus, earning her more points.

Below pictures are the graphical and tabulated rankings of candidates who made it to the Top 16 spots. These countries include: Philippines, China PR, Colombia, Wales, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Nepal, South Sudan, Israel, Ukraine, Venezuela, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and Russia.

Briefly, we can interpret this simply as Philippines got 18/47 votes for Top 1, 5/47 votes for Top 2, etc. China PR although not voted with Top 1, she soared on the 2nd and 3rd spot with virtually the highest score from the rest. Colombia, Wales, Mexico and Puerto Rico had their shares of favorable Miss World votes but not enough to topple Philippines. One of the most surprising results of this hotpick is that Venezuela, Russia and Ukraine were on the bottom list. India was nowhere to be found and yet its neighboring country Nepal made it and even at a better position with the Venezuela, Russia and Ukraine. South Sudan is the only woman of color who made to the list.
The rankings were entered as is and the corresponding points were computed automatically. For example, if Philippines got 18 votes on Top 1 spot, it will be multiplied with 100 points ( or 1800 points). If she got 5 votes on Top 2 spot, it will be multiplied with 90 points. Rank 1 to 16 are given specific points to be multiplied. Please refer also to the below picture titled 'Corresponding Points per Placement'.
