Anyway, here's my FIRST out of the TWO predictions i will make for MISS WORLD 2012, I don't wanna tire putting photos, here's my list -
I can see either an ASIAN or Another LATINA winning this year.
Here's my prediction:
1. China - it's stupid not to predict this beauty in the top 3 finish. What's good about this is that she deserves it. Wen Xia exudes beauty, fierce look with a natural fresh take. Home country advantage is given but it could also be a downfall for they already crowned a winner in their home turf. A first or second runner up (princess) finish is very possible unless she wins top model or beach beauty which would clearly indicate that they want another winner from China and that judges are ok with it.
2. Mexico - Mariana is another beauty that cant be denied. She looks like a shoo in on any international pageant. MExico is hungry to get their first Miss World crown and this can be the year.
3. Wales - missosology.org may play here but how can you resist this Goddess? If only she's trained well then by default we have a winner...sad cause it's hard to guess her winning...her walk is pretty bad (imo).
4. Brazil - another latina for the win. Her charm in the talent portion is infectious. She carries herself so well that you'll stop and stare just to see her glide and do her thing.
5. Philippines - I can say many things why she will place and at the same time why it could shock that she might not make it (island thingy crisis). Predicting her is tricky for she can upset up until a victory, not to mention she is well trained.
Philippines like MExico is yet to win their first MW crown. Last year is an indication that Morley finally welcomes this country in the league. Though in my honest opinion, Pinoys need not to worry about the issue with China. China and Phil island crisis won't play big here. In the end, it's Morley's call.
6. Puerto Rico - IMO Puerto Rico should have won last year. They have been in the semis for quiet a while and it's heartbreaking to
see another close finish and this might happen again. Her walk is amazing! We'll see if Janelee can change that fate this year.
7. Vietnam - this is my darkhorse. Innocent, sultry, Commanding and Fresh - this is Ms. Vietnam all in one. May not have the best face in the pageant but she is undeniably magnetic. Also Vietnam is yet to further show the world that they can produce quality candidates and the more they get exposed to it, the more they get the whole thing.
8. Venezuela - her exclusion in beach beauty is surprising but should not get too much worried for she would surely make it still in the finals. Big pageants would appear to be incomplete without Venezuela in the semis..plus this sweet girl like most of the venezuelan beauties deserve to be hyped.
9. Mongolia - i don't need to explain much why she's in. Her confidence, uniqueness and aura stand out in a crowd. Her country helps her get noticed even more.
10. Colombia - sweet girl Barbara is like a miss teen usa winner. She has the best team behind her and is well trained. Personally I see her better in MU and ME.
11. Jamaica - for the most competitive black beauty this year. Might end up way higher than this.
12. Spain - hot...screams Miss Universe.
13. Israel - very nice walk.
14. Czech Republic - Linda...i wish i could rank her higher, i see her personality a bit dry. Hope she picks up the pace and she has the potential.
15. USA - Alexandra was sort of an experiment beauty being sent to MW and it worked.. Claudine on the other hand is a total package but kinda lacks the personality and that MW factor. I am not so pleased with her performance so far but she can pull a surprise.
16. Hong Kong - need more support to put some boost on this beauty. She is like Xian less 20%. Charisma can make that difference.
17. Australia - Jessica is not the typical australian candidate we see but she is equally stunning like most of their strong candidates.
18. South Africa - MW can't be complete without SA. This year is no exception.
19. Kazakhstan - Evgeniya can rank way higher than this, i like to see her in the finals.
20. India - Vanya is really smart. I hope they notice her more. India needs a comeback and I hope she will make it happen.
Other Notices : Guadelope - one of the most beautiful black beauties this year.
Albania - Floriana is beautiful but MW might pass on Albania this year due to Poor performance.
I have a friend who's in China observing the pageant - she said it's breathtaking even the small events, it's pricey and the girls are really gorgeous, way better than MU. They'd surely have an unforgettable crowning night. Her faves are Colombia, Mexico, Phil, China and Jamaica.
