I know people are going to react to my thoughts about this, but oh well
I'm going to point this out whether they like it or not!

See, its ok to have some fun because this is once in a lifetime experience for every candidate
you can take funny pictures you can be friends with whom you like
but see, this is Miss World!

and a beauty pageant doesn't only look for a facial beauty or a hot body

they look for someone;
who is aware of the problems of human beings
who is really interested in different lifestyles, their traditions, how they live their lives etc.
who is communicating so well with different people
a girl who is truly a beauty queen

I'm looking at these pictures and what every candidate chooses to do in this journey

I see Colombia, Finland, Venezuela taking hundreds of funny pictures in one day
Czech Republic and Slovakia together all the time etc...

but what is Açalya doing?

Besides taking pictures for like 10-15 everyday with her fellow friends,
for example;

is spending some time with Clara and Candy
whom working in Shang lake and meeting with them, talking about their jobs and inviting them to Turkey



or mini interviewing with their guide about Yangcheng lake



or spending time and talking with the farmers in Changsu about their problems, hopes and writing down about still how positive and thankfull people they are



DON'T GET ME WRONG I'M PRETTY SURE THAT THERE SHOULD BE A LOT OF CANDIDATES WHO ARE SOCIALIZING WITH CHINESE PEOPLE AND SPENDING SOME TIME WITH THEM AND GET TO KNOW THEM TO TALK ABOUT THEM

I JUST WANTED TO SHARE AÇALYA'S NOTES AND EXPERIENCES

PLEASE SHARE YOUR CANDIDATES ACTIONS IF SHE IS DOING THINGS THAT MATTER BESIDES ONLY TAKING PICTURES WITH THE CANDIDATES

Stop overhyping her.

She has some manly angles in candids. The space between her front teeth looks awful at times and takes away a large toll of her facial beauty.

I WOULD RATHER PREFER A GIRL..ENJOYING HER JOURNEY AT MW IN CHINA than those who keep flaunting about her socialization with the localites.

With all due respect, I feel like this thread is just making the other girls look as if they're not conscious enough, or they're just on vacation. Just because Miss Turkey took two or three pictures with locals, doesn't mean that she's the only one aware of world problems! Miss Venezuela, Miss Colombia and Finland, if anything, are enjoying this experience to the max. They have their BWP projects as well, they are no there just to look pretty and smile. Yes, Turkey may have been getting to know people from Ordos and taking pics with them, but what does that has to do with being '' interested in different lifestyles and traditions '' ? As far as I'm concern, getting to know the other delegates, one by one, is also a signal of being interested in other cultures and traditions.

And I agree with those who say Turkey is overrated. Yes, she is pretty and has been doing her homework in Ordos. However, she is not all that in the beauty department, she is manly from some angles and her smile is not the prettiest one. I feel like this thread's intentions is to make the other girls look as if they don't care for Miss World or getting involved with other traditions and, with all due respect, I think that's not true at all.

Açalya is socializing with different people and the girls.
But her interacting with different people and to care about different things besides only taking pictures with her tongue out or winking
doesn't make her a social worker.

You can define this as showcasing and flaunting but when your girl does it
we all know how you define it.

I'm comparing it, because this is a pageant and its about comparing people.

And by the way, her gap between her front teeth is
something that suits her well and it shows that
she has enough self-confidence not to fix it

There are so many legendary models and beauties famous with their gap teeths like

oh and by the way yes, she is very androgynous

She didn't take 2 or 3 pictures with the locals only. All of the contestants are doing that
What I'm saying is about interaction with other people besides the candidates

it has everything to do with it.

Getting all the delegates as by one is something important too as well.

My intentions are not trying to look any candidate look bad, offcourse they care for Miss World
