How can the number of likes on contestant profile on facebook can decide her LUCK at the MW pageant. I am concerned because many countries are not pageant fanatic and people won't care to like the page of their country girl in the first place, NO MATTER how much deserving the girl may be.

It is completely UNFAIR on MWO's part if number of likes can decide the fate of the girl. And some pageant crazy nations would make fake ids ON n ON n ON just to like their girl's official facebook page put up by MWO, EVEN IF THE GIRL IS UNDESERVING ( Just a case, NO PUN INTENDED [-X

)

We have stunning girls this year from non PAGEANT CRAZY nations but what if their people don't like their page on FB.

I completely oppose this criteria. Publicizing the pageant is one thing and taking it as an indicator of placement is other.

nOW MANY of you would think If I don't support this thing then WHY AM PROMOTING COLOMBIA through my signature....WELL...THE RULE HAS BEEN SET and am sure MWO will not take it back...So am not taking chances with my girl...BUT still....IT IS SOMETHING UNFAIR.

WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON THIS ?

Just having fun and "number of likes" shouldn't be taken seriously. It's hypocritical to talk about "fairness" when every beauty pundit looks at his/her individual definition beauty on the basis of his/her own perspective, i.e. belief, ideas, and value system. The moment you start harping about being "fair" marks the end of objectivity. There!

If you are supporting colombia then why not campaign her in you fb or other social site..

I think the MWO gave the girls fans the chance to show their support to them through this voting or liking thingy. Of course, this is not the main criteria for choosing the winners, it is just a fast track something lol:)) For example Mexico and Philippines got the highest votes, I think it is not their fault anymore, unfortunately they both got lots of supporters lol:))
