When the local franchise of Miss Earth was taken away from Miss Benelux, i felt sad that Nathalie Den Dekker lost the opportunity to represent Netherlands in a Grandslam pageant. So when she was appointed Miss Nederlands World 2012, I was very happy. Nathalie's past pageant experiences will be her greatest weapon.

Unlike Czech Republic who had placed three times in Miss World, its sister country Slovak Republic has yet to place in the semifinal. This year Slovakia might have its first placement with Kristína Krajčírová. The blonde Slovakian has that Victoria's Supermodel look that can easily charm the judges. In my opinion it is about time to have a Miss Slovakia in the line-up of semifinalists of Miss World.

Miss Mundo Brazil 2012 Mariana Notarangelo might not have the prettiest face but she can easily edge out her competitors with her killer curves. I would not mind is she will top the Beach Beauty competition. Brazil is doing good lately in Miss World, so keep an eye on Mariana.

Although the Central Asian country of Kazakhstan has been successful in Miss World lately, this year they change strategy. Hoping for another top 5 or better placement they replace they delegate and send blonde Evgeniya Klishina. Bear in mind when Kazakhstan placed in Miss World for the first time it was courtesy of blonde Margarita Kravtsova. Some photos of Evgeniya are breathtaking and some are not but it is really hard to judge her at this point. Lets see if this change is the right move.

It's been almost two decades since a Miss Finland was included in the semis of Miss World. The entry of Finland this year is either a miss or a hit for me. Sabrina Sarkka has decent face and body but will it be enough? However it is nice to see her place.

Miss Barbados Marielle Wilkie and Miss Sweden Sanna Jinnedal chances of winning for me are long shots but since it is Miss World they are competing in, wherein the unpredictable is predictable it is really hard to tell if they will place or not.
Paraguay is doing well lately in Miss World, Fiorella might do that!
