Para ser coronada el próximo sábado 18 de agosto como la nueva Miss Mundo 2012 en Ordos, Mongolia
A solo nueve días que se celebre la noche final de Miss Mundo 2012, la puertorriqueña Janelee Marcus Chaparro Colón confía en su personalidad para alzarse con el cetro que ostenta la venezolana Ivian Sarcos.

Además dijo a Vocero.com, que apuesta a su proyección ante los jueces en la gala final para traer a la Isla el título que obtuvo Wilnelia Merced en el 1975.

“Yo se que he tenido muchas cosas en la vida que me han dado la oportunidad de crecer como persona que me han hecho crecer y tener una manera diferente de ver las cosas. Mi proyección y lo que soy yo es lo que me hace brillar. Lo más que me ayuda a mi es ser yo misma y no tratar de copiar un papel”.

Chaparro ha clasificado en dos de las tres mini competencias que se han llevado a cabo. Por su pasarela , cuerpo y porte, la bercelonetense clasificó en las competencias de ‘Top Model’ y ‘Beauty Fashion’. Sin embargo, en la competencia de talento no logró obtener la aprobación del jurado para ser semifinalista.

Por otro lado, deja en las manos de Dios, la decisión de ser la ganadora del certamen, que dirige Julia Morley. ”

“No soy persona de creer en los amuletos. Tengo una familia que es cristiana y tengo principios cristianos pero creo en la fe. Lo más importante es levantarme y darle gracias a Dios porque estoy aquí. La bendición de estar aquí me la dio él y de poner en sus manos la decisión que quiera. Siempre pido que tenga control de mis nervios y le pido para que me pueda concentrar y hacer las cosas bien”, finalizó vía telefónica, Miss Mundo de Puerto Rico 2012.

- Our second Dances of the World performance kicks off with Puerto Rico in a peacock-esque sleeved and orange sequinned catsuit topped with a pointed and elaborate headpiece, dazzling!!

- Nigeria slinks centre stage in fuschia and blue, she is sinuous in her movements and does the most incedible body shaking, the audience cheer.

- Venezuela is a riot of frills and ruffles as she throws her skirts in colourful arcs

- Japan's stunning white kimono, black obi belt and fan slow the pace to a beautiful tune and she moves as delicately as a flower, she's so serene.

- Italy comes forward to vibrant, fun music and shimmies hands on hips with a dramatic full-lenght train from her headpiece.

- Angola is all hips and stepping feets! She moves every muscle in her body, it's awesome to watch!

- Mauritius is in a red tiered dress with matching boots, and shimmies centre stage, smiling all the while

- Aruba is in the most Beyonce-like outfit we've clapped eyes on. A fringed yellow and orange short catsuit. She's a riot of whirling arms and shimmying and it's utterly infectious!

Dances of the world, top model, designer, beach body... si esto es cierto, then I think Janelee is IN the top 5. I've been observing a pattern going on these lats years where the first one opening dances of the world turns out to be in the top 3, and most of them made it to beach body or top model. So hopefully!

I don't think Janelee actually made the Dances of the World, I think all the girls made a special performance in that interlude, because I never saw Janelee in any list of the girls chosen for Dances of the World.
