In my opinion she can win Miss World for some reasons:
- Each some years Mrs. Morley crowns a blonde with blue eyes. 2006 Czech Republic, 2010 USA, 2015 Spain and she is already playing another.
- Also the last European to win was the Spanish Mirena in 2015 and since then.... only Africa hasn´t won (was in 2014) (Oceania I don´t count it) But Asia and America have.
- France has been several times on the verge of winning as in 2013 and in 2019, it also happened to Mexico and finally they won in 2018.
The only thing that puts me back somewhat is that I haven´t seen anything of her social project or her English skills, I don´t know if it is good, acceptable or terrible.
Julia never crowns runners-up of national pageants, only winners.
Is this a written rule or an unspoken one? That’s unfair because April is better than so many National winners already. If I was Sylvie Tellier I would have arranged for a small crowning and sashing ceremony for April as Miss World France, to show Julia that I value her pageant and that gesture could make a difference for April.
I personally wouldn’t mind April with the blue crown at all but it all depends how strategic she falls under Julia’s plans. Like if Julia is eyeing France as a potential host in the near future she could possibly crown her.
I think Julia just wants to feel like her contest is respected in its own right and not a second-choice to Miss Universe. I understand why she would think like that but punishing girls who didn't win their national crowns for the sake of boosting the reputation of Miss World is ridiculous. I'm almost positive Ophély Mézino would have won if she was the outright Miss France winner.
I don't dislike April or anything but personally she wouldn't be my pick anyways. I also think it's very probable Amandine will be sent to Miss World 2022 and could win.
When it comes to the top 2 (or 3), it is just luck and destiny that separates the girls - that is truly just a subjective choice. Trust me that neither Julia nor Paula would put a girl in the top 5 unless they were ok with her winning. Ophelie was gorgeous, much more so than Toni Ann, but Toni Ann had an amazing smile, charisma, projection and was a much better and more impactful speaker than Ophelie. Both deserved the crown in their own right, but I think we can certainly believe that if they entered the final in a tie, based on their actual performance, one can see why Jamaica won, whether or not one personally agrees with the choice.
