Early days, but WA is shaping up really good for 2012.

The state of Western Australia (WA) has chosen its Top 60. There were only 2 parades on Saturday 21 Jan 2012. So their will be plenty more girls to come. The latest photos I have posted are from WA only. I anticipate only about 7 from the Top 60 to make it through to the Australia national finals.

The states of Victoria, Queensland, and New South Wales usually have 7 finalists each as well.

The less populated states/territories of South Australia, Tasmania, Northern Territory, and the Australian Capital Territory usually send 1 to 3 finalists, depending on number of entries.

I will do my best to keep you all abreast with the latest developments here in Australia.

The national finals for Miss Universe Australia has 30 delegates drawn from throughout the country.

Castings for WA and QLD began in September 2011, and most State/Territory finals' dates will be announced soon.
