Russia was always my sentimental favorite - a girl that I think has a special beauty. But I always have doubts if she will place or not.
The red dress was very beautiful and suited her very well in my opinion. Her profile dress is more special, I don't know if it could have looked better or not on stage. But there's just no need for a better dress. I loved her make up, loved her hair. I don't think long hair would suit with that look. And her presence was with an impact. EG round was her strongest point.
She's not everyone's taste, she's a cold type of beauty. So don't make your judgement based on the fact that there are some negative comments, because she's not someone who will be liked by everyone. There will always be people who don't like her.
Someone made a comment (in main thread) that ball gowns are outdated. Contrary, I think that it is the hottest possible thing. It's hot in fashion, and pageant do keep up with fashion, only with some delay. It's a classical choice that instantly gives sophistication. It's also something new and exciting, something that is not exploited to death in this decade, unlike mermaid gowns and those partly-sheer shiny beaded gowns.
The problem is her SS round. Her face looks best ever with her current weight. But her body is on a skinny side based on pageant standards. I didn't like her ace expressions here. I didn't like her smile. The problem with being a cold type o beauty - you look good only with ''moderate'' smile, but beauty pageants beg you for big smile. How to give something that is not too happy, but not too slutty? She didn't find that perfect balance in my opinion.
She looked great in introduction, dress color complimented her icy eyes. Loved the fact that she kept her hair straight.
