I don't understand why people are problematising the 2 new crowns of MUP

Because of the direction of MUO that they will not share the stage with other titles, I am pretty sure that MUP will be the only crown this April. A day or week after, there will be a sashing ceremony for Miss Charm and Miss Supranational.

This will be a work around of the organisation. I am sure they will not jeopardise their situation with MUO

They are not "problematic" with the two new crowns. The issue behind that is the demand by one of the two pageants that moved to MUP. It was said that they left Bb Pilipinas because they didn't like the idea of being below Miss International. So, they moved to Miss World Philippines. Miss World Philippines did not give the same recognition that they demanded from BPCI, so the license stayed only for two years. Now, people were expecting that pageant to share the same limelight as MUPh because they moved to that group (drastically, I suppose) and now, we heard about the demand of Khun Anne that no other pageant should share the same stage as Miss Universe during a national pageant! So what's going to happen now?

This is so funny because Ms International has their own space. I think the pageant is going to benefit from the direction of Anne since she wants a stand alone brand. Most legacy national pageants maintain Ms International as a title (Senorita Colombia, Miss Venezuela, Miss Thailand, Puteri, etc.)
Honestly, i like how Ms International is being run--- culturally authentic and not afraid to be a beauty pageant

Oh, not Miss Thailand anymore. It was only during the year of Bint. But we have Senorita Panama, Star Hellas and there will be a few more that will follow!

Yes, Miss International is a traditional pageant that remains traditional that's why we are always being labeled as boring. We accept it because we do not ask for a lot of money from our national directors. We do not want them to suffer financially.

They are all crazy. For 5 decades, M.U, M.W, and M.I are all under the roof of BPCI sharing one stage on one coronation night.

Why all of a sudden, they now need a solo crowning night just to satisfy their insatiable quench for power and control.

I actually don’t mind if MUP drops or loses the Miss Universe franchise .. lately MUO doesn’t seem like a fun, collaborative pageant any longer … the new owner seems narcissistic and control freak and plays games … even worse than Trump … if she wasn’t a transgender but a man there would be so much more criticism

TRUE.......AND Miss Universe OWNER BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE THE MOST SUPERIOR PAGEANT NOWADAYS. THEY CAN GET WHAT THEY WANT BUT THIS SUPERIORITY MAY LEAD TO....STUPIDITY.

What if instead of Anne having acquired the MUO, it was Chavit Singson who bought it? I recall he was initially interested in acquiring it.

Imagine what would MUO be like. But for sure, there will be people that will not like it especially our shopitbahays .

Isnt it that Supra left Bb. Pilipinas coz they want to be the top plum so they went to MW then they got the same treatment. Now that they are in another org they are not only getting the bridesmaid treatment but rather the elbow treatment lol. They wont even be mentioned or be part of the contest itself but just a consolation prize extra crown lol. MUP of course will not jeopardize its franchise for a mere minor pageant like Supra. If one title needs to go its gonna be Supra.
