New Criteria in selection of Top 20 is looming at 71st Miss Universe?

During the IMG era, the scores from the closed door interview weighted bigger than the scores from swimsuit and evening gowns and still the votes from MUO are included in selecting the semifinalists at Miss Universe. Now in the JKN era, will there be a major change in criteria in selecting this edition's semifinalists particularly the rumors of fans' behavior on social media during the pageant period might be added along with the scores/votes from the closed door interview, preliminary swimsuit and preliminary evening gown and votes from MUO?

It's not as if the candidates encourage the fans to go rogue for them.

how about from fans that pretend to be filipinos which is a common tactic with one of our neighborsis ..tricky and dangerous and strike from behind..is there a way of knowing from what country it was posted?

Hopefully i'm tired of underwhelming girl making the top 15 because of interview. Swimsuit and Evening gown has to be at least 80 % again. Pageantry under IMG was so bad all the girl felt everly rehearse and like robots

Agreed- there were times PH delegates were mediocre but got placed just bcz of fan hype- 2013,2014, 2017,2016,2019,2020

Why don't we wait until after the pageant and see if this is true? If the same girls make the cut then we know it is not true.

The new owner says the organization will no longer have any power to choose any of the final girls per a personal statement from herself. However, she is serving as a head judge. Makes no sense to me.


I want someone from the British Islands Virgin to win. Someone totally unexpected.
