Also, I hope her team listened and prepared her to speak because we all know Thai girls can't speak in Q&A or have no personality.

OT: How about MGI's alleged manipulation on the most popular voting, when they deprived Russia from advancing in the Top 10 despite they got the highest vote over Mauritius? How about putting a clapper advanced straight into the Top 10 without performing in the swimsuit round like in the past editions?

i think it's just high time that Th gets their 3rd crown but always falling short of the right candidate.
look- they have sponsors SS several times, hosted several times after Bui and now has bought the Miss Universe and still nothing.

Winning on her own merits? Dude, this is a business. Politics, sash/branding and luck play a huge factor as well. Do you think Puerto Rico winning in Puerto Rico in 2001 with 2 Puerto Rican judges was winning on her own merits? Do you think Philippines winning with 2 Pinoy judges in the final was winning on her own merits? Do you honestly think Miss USA only clapped four times because all American girls were the best among the rest?

If this year Thailand's representative is an eloquent, smart and a fluent speaker she has an edge to win their 3rd crown.
But I doubt it because there is a lot more qualified girl for the title.

I find it funny how some people claim that you have to be the best speaker to win Miss Universe. There are quite alot of winners having just an "OK" answer. Olivia and Paulina to name a few. If Thailand will give us a spectacular performance comes prelims and finals, I don't mind her winning. Why would anyone limit her chances just because the new owner is THAI and Miss Universe was bought at the time of her reign. If the new owner for example is from the Philippines, does it mean Celeste must not win also because it will be automatic cooking show, despite her being the best that night?

Bashers always claim Thailand is not a threat to their candidate yet everytime there is a video of Thailand, may it be instagram or facebook, she always had one of the highest views if not the highest! and it's not even in the MUT official page but other Pageant pages. It only proves all eyes are on her. LOL.
