Why Mariam Habach clapped, Keysi Sayago placed?

The infamous walkout by the losing candidates against Mariam Habach during the crowning moment at Miss Venezuela 2015, it was reflected on Mariam's performance at Miss Universe 2016 where she ended up as clapper despite her stellar performance in the preliminary competition. And even worse, one of the girls who walked out during the crowning moment named Valeria Vespoli finished 1st Runner Up at Miss Supranational 2016 and surpassed the international placement against Jessica Duarte (MI 2016-clapper) and Andrea Rosales (ME 2015-Top 8 ).

Then the following edition, Keysi won Miss Venezuela 2016 without any walkout incident by the losing candidates against her and competed at Miss Universe 2017. When she failed to secure Top 4 slots in the Americas group, I felt this was the brink of a back to back clapping streak of Venezuela at Miss Universe since 1974-1975 but Keysi was selected as one of the 4 delegates as part of wildcard. Keysi proved to the preliminary judges wrong and finished in the Top 5 at Miss Universe 2017.

But as I have said, we were always planting tremendous cheers very hard for them all throughout the competition to help gain their great momentum and eventually, to be noticed by the judges. You always keep pulling my legs. I said, all front runners will not be called even to the semis if The Philippines is The Host Country. It's been like that since The Philippines Hosted 3 times already.

Keysi will be called even in The Philippines as host country. She's not gonna be a front runner but a dark horse. Only dark horses would be uprooted to the semis and eventually be a winner.

I think Mariam has a face few find attractive, although it is always surprising when a Venezuelan claps, especially after that gown and twirl. Mariam's body actually isnt outstanding imho, she is just lean.

Keysi I think looks really appealing with her nude lipstick, and her physique looks fitter with some definition... and that tan really goes well with her ethnic identity. The judges probably favoured all these in 2017.

There was an interview with one of the judges i think it was Francine Lefrak who answered that. I forgot it all but it has something to do with what they saw in her during the closed door interviews. I was shocked that a judge would be interviewed about that on why a candidate did not make it but Francine was game on. I could not find that video anymore but in a previous thread before, that i dont remember anymore and i dont know how to retrieve, there was a video of it on why miss venezuela did not make it. A candidate does not make it for no reason. There are judges. And one thing is clear. WE ARE NOT THE JUDGES, they are! so we can only speculate but it is not up to us on who makes it or does not make it.

i think this might be the very reason she did not make it.
As I remember since IMG took over, they also work on behind the scenes of watching out for the diva and those the worst attitude.
Remember 2018, when colombia usa and au talked about how Vietnam communicates they mocked her. lucky that USA and Au made it to top 20 but colombia, she was left out.
