Will Laksmi be Indonesia's first Top 5 finisher at Miss Universe?

Indonesia has 8 placements at Miss Universe but never made it to the Final 5. The closest was in 2019 when Frederika Cull made it to the Top 10 because of her strong speech in the opening statement round but when it came to the swimsuit round, for that was the reason why she failed to advance in the Final 5 and never got the chance to hold the microphone for the on stage question round.

Now do you think fellow Indonesian-Australian Laksmi has the chance to make it to the Final 5 and finally will hold the microphone in the question round just like Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam in the past? or will she fall short because Telemundo is reportedly organized this edition's pageant along with the hiring of Amy Emmerich as CEO of Miss Universe Organization?

The Indonesian rep, imho, has a higher chance of making it this year. Seems like a well rounded girl with a good attitude. No history of downing tequilla straight from the bottle and horseplaying with men (some naked) and having the AUDACITY to post it on IG stories while being an active national titleholder. So YES. For me, amongst the SEA queens crowned, Indonesia is the best one.

This seems different, she looks a lot more Asian than Caucasian, and one look from her pics/vids she clearly grew up in Indonesia. Her English is fluent but has a slight Indonesian accent which really makes her more authentic as the new rep of Indonesia.
