Miss Philippines 2022

Postby Blanche » Wed May 04, 2022 5:13 am

The Philippines brought back some stunning queens to put on a mediocre production. The pageant itself felt like a failed recycled pageant from the glorious 2018 production in Thailand. The only formula that the Philippines seems to have in their bag of tricks is crowning half white women. This worked for them in 2015 and 2018. They have tried again in 2022 by crowning another half white girl that was not even born in the Philippines. She grew up in Italy and only moved to the Philippines to pursue pageantry. Additionally, Catriona failed to make a splash in the Australian pageant scene, so she also moved to the Philippines. It would appear that the Philippines should start crowning their own women rather than foreigners. This is not sending a healthy message. The fearless forecast is predicting that Celeste will not even come close to the crown.

Look who is talking in your avatar and you have the audacity to make such statement. Fyi, the Philippine pageantry has been crowning pure Filipinas for many years resulted in 2 Miss Universe winners who are pure Filipinas. They dont discriminate women who want to fulfill their dreams in pageantry unlike your ideology. Half-breed or native, as long you have all the qualities, you can win MUP. Celeste was born in Pasay but moved to Italy when she was a child. You should watch her interview before you spew garbage. YOu should go back to your cave because you are not evolving and stop with your rubbish analysis. Grow up because people are evolving and cross-breeding with different cultures and races but no one wants to breed you because of how you look. =;)) =;)) =;)) =;))

Shut up. She's born into a Filipino Culture in Italy. There's so many Filipinos in Italy like Milan, Rome, Venice, Naples and other places because of The Catholic influences. She's will learn her Tagalog with perfect accent better than the native speakers in a month or so because it's in her Heart. She is a holder of Realtor agent certificate to pursue that career so no family will be left out and become homeless. For your info, she was born in The Philippines but her parents moved her to Italy. When she was old enough at 18 to be on her own, it's her choice to live in The Philippines because it was her wishes and desires. IT WAS HER CHOICE BUT NO ONE ELSE WHO INFLUENCED THAT DECISION. On the other hand, Miss Universe Philippines doesn't send a Representatives just to TRICK PEOPLE in the World, The Universe rather. But when our Representative are faced with TRICKY SITUATIONS AND Questions in Q&A, that's the time our CANDIDATES will DELIVER A MAJOR MAJOR TRICK. AND MOST ESPECIALLY, when MUO DEVICES SOME GAME PLAN, FOR SURE SHE'LL KNOW HOW TO DELIVER A BOMBSHELL TO COUNTERACT IT. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PAST THAT MISS PHILIPPINES WERE THE VICTIMS OF THOSE MUO PLOTS.

The Philippine Government Should investigate the dealings of Iglesia Ni Cristo into Philippine Politics especially during each Presidential Elections. Each Elections are getting Worst with them. They requires Their Members to pay Tithes to to their Church Leaders so they could use them to Build Churches and other Structural Effcts. BUT WHOSE LAND TITLES ARE IN THE NAME OF DOZENS CHURCHES LOCALLY AND ABROAD. BUT ITS UNDER MANALOS NAME ONLY NOT BY ANY MEMBERS WHO CONTRIBUTED THAT CHUNK AMOUNT OF MONEY. EVERY PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS THEY'LL HAVE TO PRONOUNCE THEIR PREFERENCE OF A CANDIDATE TO VOTE with every Iglesia Ni Cristo members or else They'll be ex communicated if they are not voting accordingly authorized by their leader MANALOS. THE PHILIPPINE GOVERNMENT SHOULD BAN THIS CHURCHES TO REQUIRE TITHING TO EACH MEMBERS SO THAT THEY WONT USE THIS SCHEME TO DECEIVE THE PEOPLE. HERE IN AMERICA, A LOT OF RELIGIOUS LEADERS HAVE BEEN SENT TO PRISON USING THIS SCHEME. THERE'S SHOULD BE NO COMPULSORY TITHING AND INVOLVMENT IN THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION. ALL THE LAND AND ITS BUILDING ACCUMULATED SHOULD BE UNDER EVERY MEMBER'S NAME. THE MANALOS OF THE IGLESIA NI KRISTO SHOULD BE SENT TO PRISON. THEY'VE been using this tactics in every Presidential Elections OVERTIME. THE MANALOS ALWAYS WIN BUT THE MEMBERS ALWAYS LOSES MONEY AND THEIR RIGHTS TO VOTE. YOU MANALOS, YOU SHOULD ALWAYS FOLLOW THE ACTS OF GOD ESPECIALLY TO YOUR MEMBERS AND IN THE SOCIETY NOT THE ACTS OF DEVIL, EVIL OR WICKEDNESS. You are using the vulnerability of WORKING CLASS FILIPINO PEOPLE TO ILLEGALLY CASHING MONEY FROM THEM THINKING THAT YOU MANALOS CAN GET AWAY WITH IT. Likewise, Muslim and Catholics in The Philippines haven't used that kind of tactics or elsewhere in the World when they are the major Religions. In Every Presidential Elections that is their M.O. in Criminal Law meaning modus operandi. In layman's term hokus focus or monkey business via RELIGIOUS BELIEFS VERSUS REALITY BASED SITUATIONS. In every Presidential elections,, they are so Active from the Rest of Major Religions of The World or IN The Philippines. Personally, it cringes me how they get actively involve and meddle with Presidential Elections. And MUCH MORE THE BUSINESS SIDE LIKE REALTY. THATS THEIR MAIN DENOMINATOR OR FOCUS WHICH ARE REALTY AND PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS.

At least she can speak her Native tongue, Italian to have represented Italy in the International competition. Please next time in the National Pageants. The interview and the question should be related to Philippine Culture, current events, showbiz, politics and History to test them about their knowledge of our country since they will be sent to represent us. For instance, Miss Bohol, we can ask her in Q&A about the Mythical story on how Chocolate Hills came about. If she doesn't know, for sure, her Province Representation would be questioned. Like Pasay, we can ask her whose her favorite Pasay Mayor in The past she likes and why. If she doesn't know even Mayor Pablo Cuneta who is the famous father of Sharon Cuneta, longest time served Mayor in the Philippines and that's the name of Cuneta Astrodome was named after Him. We will test them how they know their place or Province and The Philippines in general. Like for Makati, you can ask her about Ayala Avenue or being the financial district capital in the Philippines so she could study more about places or events in her City or Province. No more Generalized questions so they don't memorize their answers but more specific about The country Philippines in General. You can ask them to sing a line of Lupang Hinirang so that Those Foreignays could study at least one semester in college to accumulate more knowledge on Phillipine History, current events, politics or Showbiz. They are not just arriving to The Philippines because they are booked to a commercial deals or into trainings for pageantries. They hold a dual Citizenship, they can just come and go at their own pleasures. I have two growing nieces who are American Lithuanian Polish Filipino, very Mestiza looking but our Game Plan is to send them to college first even just a semester or to bargain, at least a year even commercial, pageantries, Film or TV crosses their path so that it would be fair to all that they will have a strong ties to The Philippines. And then, for that one semester, for sure they'll gonna accumulate understanding about The Philippines and its role or standing in The World. Most importantly, Our Family is not Thirsty or Hungry to Be Famous Fast or To Acquire Money or Material Things too soon. We want to have our nieces and nephews to finish college because it will instill to them the pleasure as well as the dignity of work as a professional person when they get to that point. They will have a strong ground against any temptations around them. They'll know better judgements in their dealings with people and their lives in general. Besides, when you get a college degree for sure you can get to places. I'm here in a cruise ship right now, the first thing I ask from Filipino crews, their level of education. All of them have a degree in college and mostly Hotel and Restaurant Management in different places in Manila and Provices. But because of their jobs, they have been to various countries in Europe, it's because they went to finish college.

I beg to disagree, the rules of the MUPh is not discriminatory as what you described. The minimum requirement is just be a Filipino citizen.

As long as she has a Philippine passport she is legally a Filipino citizen hence she can represent the Philippines.
A 100% black person can be a Filipino citizen if she has a Philippine passport.
A 100% white person can be a Filipino citizen if she has a Philippine passport.
A 100% brown person can be a Filipino citizen if she has a Philippine passport.
A 100% yellow person can be a Filipino citizen if she has a Philippine passport.
Hence a halfie, just like Celeste Corttesi can be a Filipino citizen if she has a Philippine passport. She has a Philippine passport therefore she is Filipino citizen.

It is legal just like in USA, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Bolivia and the Carribean, North American and Latin American countries that the candidates are really not the indigenous first inhabitants of the land but are halfies because of colonization and migration. It is basically what is happening in the Philippines. In the USA, it is majority white but try sending a 100% Native American then and lets see your point .

As long as she has a Philippine passport she is legally a Filipino citizen hence she can represent the Philippines.

That can be said as Filipina from the Outside but Foreigner from the inside. But someone who is Authentic and relatable as a representative for Miss Universe should also know their adoptive country's Culture, Linggo, History's which can be learned from formal schooling. But if you only know those from friends, employer, associates, acquaintances, ITS ONLY CHIKA CHIKA. You can't learn from them that much.

Miss Universe Canada 2021 has a Chinese blood. Chinese Canadians dominated at Miss Chinese International and they won 11 times, 7 of them came from Vancouver.

Double Standards?
