Impact on Indonesia's withdrawal at Miss Universe 2021

Postby ajsy0203 » Thu Nov 11, 2021 4:55 am

For the first time since 2004 that Indonesia will not compete at Miss Universe 2021 since Puteri Indonesia pageant was moved to early 2022. At first Indonesia's presence at Miss Universe was very promising with 8 placements which the highest placement is Frederika Cull where she finished in the Top 10. Despite they have lots of placement, they never reached in the Final 5 stage along with Costa Rica and Czech Republic.

The downside was the Indonesian pageant fans especially at 2019 pageant when Frederika made it to the Top 10 and felt they were powerhouse and Top 10 finish was a big deal. But when MUO announced that Miss Universe 2021 will be held in Israel, things started to panic because Indonesia doesn't have a diplomatic relationship with Israel just like when Israel withdrew at Miss World 2013 that was held in Indonesia.

Now what could be the impact of Indonesia's absence at Miss Universe 2021? Do you think the Indonesian pageant fans will still wreck havoc on social media or will this edition be a peaceful one?

The rambunctious Indon fans will make noise but that's as far as it should go. The absence of Indonesia in the Ms U stage in Eilat will not make a dent. That's almost assured!

Asking about Indonesia's absence is like asking if Ghana or Albania or any other well-placing-but-never-winning sash will be missed. It's an irrelevant question as their absence has nothing to do with Miss Universe's success or failure.

You're giving the Indonesian fans a million times more credit than they deserve. No one even understands or cares for the fuss that they make on IG, as their English grammar is tougher to crack than the Da Vinci Code.

It's only the hard-headed and OA Filipino fans (whom I suspect are high school students) who engage with them.

Edited to qualify the use of "Ghana" in the original post.

No one is celebrating nor feeling the regret of their non-participation. In short, there is no impact at all. Participating countries don't mind their non-participation as they are not a force to reckon with. If Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, the USA, or France won't participate, then the IMPACT is quite loud as this will make Miss Universe quite boring.

I think the ones that will be affected that much are the Indonesian fans themselves, not us, given that their consistent participation is only recent, unlike in the past in which they participated intermittently. I remember this account called “Once Binibining” in which they bash Filipinos and the queens left and right and they even fantasize Venus Raj being in poverty and they even made a poster in which they made it look like Chavit Singson and Catriona Gray will get married. To answer your question, they will definitely still say something despite their withdrawal. They even want to participate in a pageant for Spain, the Americas, and Spain’s colonies (including Portugal, which was under the Spanish crown in the past) and their reason is that their eastern side was colonized by Spain and Portugal (despite the fact that this wasn’t even successful). Even in Miss Globe, in which they didn’t even have a representative, they said something. These fans need to stop with their racist content and they should realize that their country needs to do more work if they really want to win this.
Sisters forever.
Will never forget the Miss Universe trio that once was. For now, covering other pageants.

Indonesia's recent performance at Miss Universe and invitation of Miss Universe titleholders to Puteri Indonesia finals have an impact but the toxic behavior of Indonesian pageant fans recently caused tensions in the social media world.

Indonesian Pageant Fans' Tactics: They triggered an unproven issue/unverified & twisted facts but if they are caught, they will play victim and put the blame on others.

The Indonesian fans will make up for their absence, by making noise.

They are predictable. One thing, they will ride in any issue especially if it involves the Philippines. Wanna bet?

It's not a big deal if Indonesia were absent this year. After all, they're NOT a powerhouse. It would have been a whole different story if it were Venezuela, The Philippines, or USA missing the pageant at Miss Universe because it is, indeed, a humongous deal! These delusional Indonesians are just like Lucifer, who thought that just because he was the best singer, the assigned choir director amongst the cherubs and seraphs, and the most good-looking angel in Heaven, he was already God and could easily challenge the unfathomable Power of God and replace the Creator. Little did Lucifer know that it was only the reflection of the glory of God that made him look so flawlessly great that way! If it were not for the Philippine trainers, then these Indonesians wouldn't have won their first Miss international crown . . . and that's a fact! Let's not give them too much attention lest the fly will think it's a wildebeest just because it rode on the latter's hump!

I have not been to pageant sites where fans from countries are at war (e.g. Indonesia vs Philippines)...but is this really a big thing out there? I mean there have been a lot of threads made and mentions about Indonesian fans that gives me an impression that they are really war freaks (reminiscent of the times here in misso during the era of Doordex, et al). Baka naman 5 persons lang yan na sobrang napakaingay lang at all over social media that's why it looks like there are so many of them. I am just wondering because here in Misso I have not seen a rabid Indonesian fan engaging war with Pinoys here. I used to read one in the past but I heard he already passed away--RIP.

Indonesians are anti Semitic .

Indonesians hate Jews that much .

That explains why they are such prolific pageant trolls .
They are full of hatred .

Actually, I have the same question. Of all the countries in the world, why Ghana? I, personally, will miss them because the are always sending some of the most beautiful and exciting ebony girl not just in Miss Universe but in other pageants as well.

As for Indonesia's absence... well... that's probably due to political issues. But one thing is for sure. Their absence won't stop their crazy fans from making noise especially if it involves Beatrice or Anchilee.

Even if she was crowned there I don’t think she will even be that sad. Well, I still remember the protests that almost got her edition out of Indonesia. They were supposed to be in Jakarta but the religious conservatives protested against it and they were held in Bali, which is populated by Hindus.

This Muslim people doesn't want women to wear bikinis or enter a beauty pageant but they have so much religious freedom to marry so many wives and even marry their cousin so what's a big fuss about beauty pageant where they can represent their country with advocacy to help the world rather the universe.

Too bad if Inunesya can't compete at Eliat, Israel this year because Israel is the The Land of Milk and Honey. All countries of the World rather The Universe should take this opportunity to compete in Israel as to what is known to them since the ancient time.
