It took 19 years for another former Miss World candidate to win Miss Universe, that was Catriona Gray where she finished in the Top 5 at Miss World 2016 later won Miss Universe 2018. Now which among these pageant veterans have the higher chance to duplicate Catriona's success at 69th Miss Universe where the latest news that there will be a reported new owner of MUO?
Which girls will shine at 69th Miss Universe and which girls will lose the spark?
Note: Miss Universe Great Britain was postponed, so we don't know who will choose either Sophie Moulds (MW 2012-1st Runner Up), Stephanie Hill (MW 2017-2nd Runner Up) or a newbie in the rescheduled finals?

SORRY BUT NONE OF THEM.

None. I will always root for the Philippines but right now, I think the battle is between Chile and Peru. Both are beautiful, stunning, intelligent, accomplished, active on social media and passionate about their own causes. Completing the Top 5 FOR NOW will be Puerto Rico, USA and Mexico.

There are a lot of good candidates in the Philippines as they always put on strong contenders. They are always in the top five in every year because they do have a beautiful crop of people as well as smart. It helps that English is a primary language over there after their native tongue because they can answer the questions pretty well. With the success of Gray and Pia over the past few years, it is not hard to see why there are so many contenders there.

This year I'm rooting for The Americas, IMG has been in charge for five years now and all the regions except for The Americas have won. Now, rumors have been speculating that "new owners" are going to be in charge of the Miss Universe franchise. Saying that I'm predicting this year the region of The Americas will take home the crown. Now, from these contenders who could be the next Catriona Gray? No one, I just simply think Catriona is out of this world, I mean she was the predicted winner for Miss World in 2016 and with all that weight on her shoulders after loosing the crown she went on to that Binibining Pilipinas stage and left room for now one and although her year at Miss Universe was competitive she just perfected everyone of her appearances.
Who can have a close shot at the crown, well from these options I would go for Brazil and Mexico. I think if the crown is for a latina Colombia will be taking home the crown.
Brazil: 9.100
Julia Gama has had an amazing transformation over the past month, she does not look the same as when she was appointed Miss Brasil 2020. I can honestly say she looks even better now than when she competed for Miss World. Julia has what past winners of the IMG era have, she was elegance and brain! She can easily take home the crown, she must do something to stand out at the Miss Universe competitionand be remembered especially since there are contestant that look better than her physically.
Mexico: 9.350
Andrea Meza: I'm in love this girl since the moment I found out she won Miss Mexico, I think that she is the perfect option to send to Miss Universe after Sofia Aragon. This year Mexico has been found in the middle of some controversy due to the conflict her national director faced with ex-beauty queens she was in charge of. Despite all of that, this is the perfect opportunity for Lupita to work on bringing back that crown to Mexico. Her conflict should not in any way affect Andrea's participation at Miss Universe. I think that Andrea has a lot to bring to the table, she has an incredible body, she represents the beauty of Mexican people and she is very intelligent. Her sash along is super strong I mean everyone knows Mexico, right? Well I'm rooting for Andrea I think she can definitely make the Top 5 this year. As for now I have her on my Top 10.
