Model, audio engineer and music producer, the newly crowned Miss Peru is surely a true pandora box. She was crowned Miss Peru 2020 on November 29, 2020. This has been Janick Maceta's third time competing for the title of the most beautiful woman in Peru. In 2016, she finished in the Top 10. Then last year, she did end as a first runner up to Kelin Rivera, who finished in the Top 10 at Miss Universe 2019.
Janick is not new to the international pageantry world. The first time she ever represented Peru was in 2018 at the Miss at Miss Tourism Word 2018 in Malaysia, where she ended as a firs runner up.
As Miss Peru 2019 first runner-up, Maceta was crowned Miss Peru Supranational 2019. She was third runner-up at Miss Supranational 2019 in Poland.
Janick was born in Lima but is currently based in New York, United States. She is one of the founders of the record label Top of New York, which digitizes and produces the musical content of young artists, and is part of the nonprofit Little Heroes Perú, which helps children who have been victims of sexual violence.
Every time Janick walks, she shows off her elegant catwalk. At times, her pageant walk reminds me of Catriona's. Moreover, Janick’s beautiful coloured eyes can surely make any heart melt. She has a gorgeous figure and a charming personality, making her an exceptionally well-loved pageant queen all over the world.
Even since Janick was crowned Miss Peru 2020, she has been top of the list of pageant watchers and social media pageantry pages, making her a strong contender for the crown and giving her the chance to win a second Miss Universe crown for Peru. The first one was Gladys Zender, 81, who was crowned at Miss Universe 1957 in California, USA on July 19, 1957.
