Why no transgenders competed at Miss Universe 2019?

After the successful stint of Angela Ponce at Miss Universe 2018, I thought more transgenders with legally female status will apply and compete at national qualifiers of Miss Universe the following year but no transgenders qualified to compete at Miss Universe 2019. Will there be another transgender/s with legally female at the 69th Miss Universe?

Well I am of the opinion that many gays and transgenders themselves respect the tradition of natural women only for Miss Universe!

It is still a heated discussion after Angela's stint at Miss Universe. I thought Angela would encourage more transgenders with legally female status to apply for the national qualifiers but you knew what happened at Miss Universe 2019.

It's a pity that the Miss Spain organization crowned Angela for publicity. That took away the opportunity of a competitive and well-prepared transgender from breaking barriers. As a result, Angela became a caricature. One of the organizers even laughed during the crowning.

Also, it takes really long for transgenders to go on their spiritual journey. But more and more transgenders are starting young, using hormone blockers during puberty and not having to undergo extensive physical transformation that usually years.

I still think some transgenders are even more beautiful than cis-women. After all, cis women are more prone to cellulites, stretch marks and high body fat proportion.



She is Filipina but I think her looks are passable in Brazil. Therefore, a transgender Miss Brazil who looks like this and has a body like her but who is also articulate and poised. I also think a full-blooded Filipina deserves to win Miss Universe so I wonder why the Filipinos can't find a natural girl who looks like her?



She's got typical British looks. Tula who was famously outed by a British tabloid paper, then accepted an assignment with Playboy to prove that transgenders can be beautiful and are not transvestites with big, hairy arms.



Of course, who can forget her?
