Debate: Iran's supposed participation at Miss Universe 2019 & Future?

Last August 2019, there was a post on social media that Iran will finally compete at Miss Universe 2019 by the name of Sonia Beytoushi. After it posted most of the netizens took the bite and some of them put her as a contender from Africa and Asia-Pacific group, even on this forum.

Then few weeks later, Missosology debunked her supposed appointment as "Miss Universe Iran" on their official FB page:

But not all of the netizens believed on Missosology's post, since we knew about their infamous misleading news about Miss World 2018 Vanessa Ponce's supposed attendance at King Vajiralongkorn's coronation of Thailand. Some netizens think that Missosology was discrediting Sonia because she was "threat" to the crown. Also Sonia defended herself thru instagram about that her appoint was legitimate and she has legal Iranian passport.

Real or Hoax: King Vajiralongkorn's invited MW18 Vanessa P.?

But few days later, Missosology posted another post, this time the confirmation by the MUO itself that Iran doesn't have a legitimate license or franchise in order to appoint or select their official delegate for Miss Universe competition.

After the confirmation, MUO posted their possible official candidates on their official social media account and there was no candidate from Iran in their video. (This was one month after Sonia's ineligibility)

Weeks before the girls arrived in Atlanta, Sonia made a final plea to MUO and President Paula Shugart despite her efforts to submit all the requirement in order her to compete at Miss Universe.

But in the end, we did not saw any "Iran" sash when the girls officially arrived in Atlanta.

So how did the pageant fans were able to believe about her supposed appointment that ended up disappointed when the official candidates arrived in Atlanta and Sonia was nowhere to be found?

Will MUO finally accept Iran for 2020 competition even if they lacked important requirements like six month residency and legitimate license? If not, will there be another Iranian that will b e Sonia Beytoushi 2.0?

You are so fixated with the non-issue of Iran participation in Ms U. Will Iran's participation restore the former grandeur of MUO or will it add more problems to the organization? What benefits will Ms Iran's participation bring to the almost dying, near dead MUO? Will one more count matter to an organization that is suffering it's dying throes?

But what if there is another "Miss Universe Iran" copycat at Miss Universe 2020 and trying to fool the pageant fans again? Just a summary of what happened and raising awareness to the pageant fans that we should not believe what we saw (join the bandwagon) without fact checking just like the Vanessa's non-attendance at the Thai king's coronation or Little Mix supposed appearance at Miss Grand International in 2017.

This thread is about raising awareness that if we saw another "appointed Miss Universe Iran" for Miss Universe 2020 or in the coming years, we should wait for MUO to announce their official candidates list before we react if she is a contender or not. [-X :=p

The laughable matter is that many gullible airheads jump into the bandwagon to satisfy their whim or fantasy. The question remains unanswered. What will Iran's participation bring to MUO, if at all? Will Ms Iran's participation and pushing the non-issue year-in-and-out bring relevance or betterment to the ailing world today? The world is facing several pressing matters that deserve "awareness" than a distant fool's lullaby.

In Filipino: Mas mabuti na masiwalat ang mga taktika nila kaysa mauto ulit ang mga pageant fans. [-X :=p
