In the past like in Binibini, MW and ME, you enroll in the beauty camps to have a shot as a candidate. This time, they will accept you as an official candidate but will undergo training with them for 1 to 2 months.
While under their watchful eye for 1 to 2 months, candidates also get an opportunity to earn through FrontRunner. (Isn't that direct-selling/networking?) Anyway... goodluck to the applicants.
Also, they kept emphasizing "empowering" the women. So the take away from them is that the girl who becomes an official candidate, after going through MUP, whether she wins or loses, is an empowered woman. She's sophisticated, well-trained in speaking, walking and modeling, and personality development.
She can compete in other competitions with all the lessons and exposure she got from MUP. So it's like a beauty camp or a personality development course.
But... one has to commit for at least 1 to 2 months worth of training with them
