MISS COSTA RICA 2020 is IVONNE CERDAS

Hello Costa Rican friends!

I am very disappointed that Adriana has withdrawn, do you know what is the reason? I liked her very much at Miss Intercontinental and hoped to see her at Miss Costa Rica one day so I was very happy that she was one of the candidates.

In the absence of Adriana, I'm torn between Valeria and Ivonne for the crown. It's two very different styles but I think the two could place at Miss Universe!

However, I think there is a problem with Ivonne as this is already her third national pageant (or more? but I remember supporting her at Miss Costa Rica 2012 during my first year on Missosology haha and adoring her last year at Miss Mundo Costa Rica 2019) and, last year, when she was the big favorite for Miss Mundo Costa Rica, she didn't even finish in the Top 3. I think the crown will be for Valeria and that will ABSOLUTELY NOT displease me, especially since you have been talking about her since the end of 2013 on this forum.

Not a fan of Fernanda or Arianna. I don't like them on candid photos!

The others are not up to par although I find Melissa rather pretty.

She withdrew because she found a full time job at UN, and ibreally hope one of those two win, she didn't finished in the top 3 because of the org of CNB

If Ivonne win this competition today, I don't think she could improve in a few weeks her ability to express herself orally in a good way. She already had many years that she could have used to achieve that goal. She also does not have the charisma necessary to shine in a first class competition like Miss Universe. She has a good image as a fashion runway model but as a candidate for Miss Universe, in reality her level is weak and very similar to that of Nazareth Cascante, Elena Correa or Paola Chacón.

They only go for a walk to the most famous beauty pageant in the world to serve as a point of criticism for the competing candidates and their fans.
A candidate should not be allowed to compete at the national level more than twice in these important beauty pageants.

I disagree with you, you can't compare her two Nazareth,she had a butter face, and even when Ivonne wasn't prepared at all, round circles around her, Elena didn't have any single outstanding ability or characteristics, indeed, her catwalk was horrendous and she looked very mature, Paola same thing, but she had a good walk and was pageant patty, very predictable, and with no outstanding aspect but her body.
Ivonne otherwise, she may not have a great communication skills, but is not as terrible as the other 3, she has a degree as an Engineer, the other ones, didn't, she works in Intel (to work there, no matter the position you need to have good English), she has been in her social project for a long time, she has the support of the fashion industry in Costa Rica, the other ones never... she has killer walk, killer body, fierce, tons of presence, nice face, gorgeous hair, great fashion sense, the others, were just a bunch of basic bitches
