Gzira is cute but there seems like there's something wrong with her teeth/mouth. My pick is Birzebbuga.

I think the crown is between Gzira and Sliema

Top 10 finalists (some of the names might not be spelt right):
Kerry Lynn Brydon – Żejtun – A suicide survivor and her platform is mental health awareness
Nicole Mallia – Naxxar – Born with a heart defect and her platform is cardiovascular health; very good speaker
Emily Camalieri – Santa Venera – Didn't sound like there was much depth to her, all she wants is to "spread the message of positivity"
Kimberly Pelham – St. Julian's – Accountant who had anxiety caused by bullying and her platform is mental health awareness
Mariah Polidano – Qormi – Her intro was in Maltese so I don't know what she said
Nicole Grixti – Gżira – Volunteers with animals and her platform is child abandonment (she was abandoned by her birth father); another good speaker
Teresa Ruglio – Sliema – She is an immigrant to Malta from Venezuela and has lived here for three years; she only just learned how to speak English from living in Malta
Sarah Camillieri – Mqabba – Another intro in Maltese
Abigayle Griffin – Marsakala – Model who's been held back in her career because of anxiety
Rebecca Pace – Birżebbuġa – Student who wishes to pursue a career in finance and her platform is overall physical/mental health awareness

Birżebbuġa, Gżira, Mqabba, Naxxar, and Sliema did best in swim. I'd expect them to be top five.

Top 5:
Rebecca Pace – Birżebbuġa
Nicole Grixti – Gżira
Teresa Ruglio – Sliema
Sarah Camillieri – Mqabba
Nicole Mallia – Naxxar

Very predictable top five, I got all five right lol.

Final questions:

Birżebbuġa – "One in four children are living in a single-parent household, how is that affecting people's views on marriage and family?" – She believes that this has weakened children's beliefs regarding marriage and family, so we should educate children on the importance of family.

Gżira – "You are on your way to a protest and someone hands you a blank sign, what do you put on the sign and why" – "Stop animal cruelty," basically said humans have rights to protect us from suffering, and animals should have the same. Very short answer.

Are these all former Miss USA/Miss Universe questions, lol?

Sliema – "How has selfie culture and social media impacted our lives?" – There are no filters in life, so sometimes we forget real life is the present and there is no perfection. Her English is not good, but she only just learned it.

Mqabba – "If you could make a hashtag that represents your life, what would it be and why" – "#Perseverance," whatever life gives her she pushes forward and achieves her goals. That's all she said, very very short answer.

Naxxar – "How should a beauty queen respond to criticism?" – Beauty queens are subjected to a lot of negative and positive feedback, and beauty queens should never respond back negatively. It is the girl's responsibility to listen to the ones that she trusts rather than those who just try to harm then. She is a good speaker.

I think Birżebbuġa and Naxxar did the best.

Top 3:
Nicole Mallia – Naxxar
Teresa Ruglio – Sliema
Nicola Grixti – Gżira

I think Birżebbuġa deserved it more than Sliema and Gżira, but oh well. Sliema will probably win but Naxxar is way better at answering questions than she is.

Top 3 question: "In 2018, the MUO accepted the first ever transgender woman at Miss Universe. Do you think transgender women should be able to compete with natural-born women?"

Naxxar: The slogan is 'confidently beautiful,' and this slogan does not have anything to do with gender. She was the winner and the most confidently beautiful, so she should be allowed to compete.

Sliema: The world is changing and so are our minds. We are understanding that we are all the same and equals, so it doesn't matter what you are on the outside, only what is on your inside.

Gżira: Malta is one of the best countries in Europe for LGBT people, so it is a step in the right direction to show Malta as an accepting nation by supporting transgender women at Miss Universe.

Gżira stumbled a bit on her words but she recovered. They all answered relatively well, so it's anyone's game. Sliema is definitely the most beautiful, but Naxxar is the most well-spoken.

I think she's facially a downgrade form last year, but hopefully she fares better at Miss Universe this year!
