Well, I don't think that she's stunning BUT she gave the best answer in the top 5. Her interview skills are INCREDIBLE, and she speaks english, so... I can see her going really far in Miss Universe. But, I don't know why, i'm kinda sad that she won, she's not memorable.

CEARA was my choice for Miss Universe, and Brazil could even win with her.
BUT, MINAS GERAIS is NOT A BAD CHOICE. However, sometimes she looks so identical with Mayra Dias, just with a short hair.

I think she has a good oratory skills and has a better English than Mayra, so I can see this girl placing beyond Top 20. Maybe a Top 10 or Top 5 placement.

What a disappointment! This batch had so much crown potential but then they chose her Brazil is back to crowning the same Natalia Guimaraes clones year after year again I guess.

I do understand why she won though, I understand bits of Portuguese and from what I have read her oratory is amazing and she seems very charismatic which are both extremely important now, she is not a threat to my Tafur but I do see her going far in Miss Universe, especially since she has 9 months to prepare too, the odds are in her favor.

Kinda late I watched the whole thing first before giving my opinion
First of all THANK GOD Brazil is back with a nice selection of finalists! Best Top 5 I've seen
Very far from the random choices that happened last year. Even the winner was random

Sao Paulo in 3rd is perfect! Don't want her getting further than that.

Ceara made suuuuuch a great performance! No doubt best performer of the night! The face, the walk, the personality..ughhh perfection But what worries me is.. if it would be the same comes Miss Universe? We know what IMG is looking for and I'm kinda on the fence if Ceara falls on that criteria (not saying she doesn't). So many girls in Universe have such stunning faces and remarkable prelim performances (swimsuit & EG) but doesn't make the cut. WHY? Coz the trend in Universe is to hold the mic first and survive it before you do your walk and showcase your beauty. So I'm kinda 50/50 with her chances...but then again she was the BEST that night!

but tbh I'm not sad at all

Minas Gerais winning is something that makes me look forward for Brazil in Miss Universe! She's very regal and classy on stage Also demure but competitive at the same time. I don't speak the language but as I always say.... It's the conviction and delivery that touches the audience more than the substance itself. The great thing about her is that she's both of a pleasant talker and a substantive speaker! An alien feeling to me for a "MISS BRAZIL". Contrary to my worry with Ceara I believe Minas Gerais shoots the IMG standard. Charisma matters to Miss Universe and he has that. Julia also have a unique face that will standout. I noticed as well the minimal make-up she's wearing! So pretty already yet has soooo much time to prepare! I'm expecting a TOP 5 unless she gets lazy and won't train for Miss Universe.
Over-all, for me she's the second best performer of the night but since I find her win as a strategic move therefore she's the rightful one

Cheer up Brazil! You have a great queen
