WE ALL KNOW THAT SOME COUNTRIES ARE SENDING THE SAME DELEGATE IN MISS UNIVERSE AND ALSO IN MISS WORLD IN THE SAME YEAR..

LIKE BELGIUM, RUSSIA AND SOUTH AFRICA..

WHAT IF THESE COUNTRIES WILL WIN IN MISS UNIVERSE???? IS SHE STILL ALLOWED TO JOIN MISS WORLD PAGEANT TO REPRESENT HER COUNTRY????

AND WHY THEY ARE DOING THIS..???

TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE..I BELIEVE THAT BELGIUM, RUSSIA AND SOUTH AFRICA ARE RICH COUNTRIES.. WHY THEY CANT PROVIDE EXCLUSIVE DELEGATE FOR EACH PAGEANT???

Melinda Bam Miss South Africa 2012 would only compete in Miss Universe this year. They is another girl that is going to Miss World :)>-

Say if Russia or Belgium won Miss World this year they can't compete in NO other pageant in they life due to contract sign. This occur in every international pageant :-*

i dont think that all international pageant.. minor pageants can compete again even if they are already titleholders.. a lot of them.. Lara Dutta for once won Ms Tourism Queen before she won Miss Universe..and Miss World Netherlands Nathalie den Dekker is also a title holder in International pageant. i think only to 4 Major International pageants that they cant compete anymo..

Obviously, they wont send that girl anymore. Its either the 1st runner up or 2nd. It depends in the org.

As far as I know in Russia, when their girl makes it, either semi finalist or finalist, they will send the runner up in the in the next pageant. Like in 2010, Irina made the cut in Miss Universe and the org decided to send the runner up in Miss World. But if their girl didn't make it in the first grandslam pageant, they still send her to the next. That was in 2007 and 2011.

South Africa will send their girl in both pageants (MU & MW) regardless if they place or not. But this year, they sent the runner up in MW and winner in MU because of some reasons that might spill as big controversy and affect the girl's chances.

If their candidate ends up winning Miss World, then she should definitely not be send to Miss Universe. That's lame and viewers lose interest. We don't want to see the same girl winning Miss World and Universe it's not fair to the other countries. Don't get me wrong I believe in recycling queens, but after a woman has won a MAJOR pageant like World or Universe she should not be allowed to compete in other pageants. Only if she went unplaced in one pageant she should be allowed to compete in another one. This is what I feel. I know there are rules against this, after winning an international pageant you are not allowed to join another pageant for a year or something like that. So I don't see a girl winning Miss World in August and then going off to Miss Universe in December. [-X
