Looking at her miss korea photos yu mi has a good chance of making it into the semis in 2013.
The only thing with yu mi is that her body is a bit disappointing , from the waist above she's a goddess but from the waist below she has a rhino body. Yu mi has very unattracive legs and thighs. She really needs to workout and get her thunder thighs toned up , South American delegates have killer figures and just having a pretty face isn't enough to make it thru.
But one thing I have to say is that beauty pageants have a real appreciation for Asian delegates especially for the truly beautiful ones that stick out. I noticed how popular contestants such as Honey Lee, Kurara, Janine tugonon, and Rosaline Chou were during the pageant (Pre, live, and post). If have no doubts Yu Mi will get some media attention and be spotted by the cameras, even possibly be on major pageant websites (global beauties, Missisology, and critical beauty) top 20 prediction list.
If I had to encourage yu mi to do anything would be to workout her legs, tone up your ass, get a good wardrobe ready, no tacky little Korean girl evening gowns, and think of a beautiful national costume, it's about time korea wins another award.

GlamRock wrote:.I honestly think she can pull off the "fierce" go-getter independant aura and drop off that cutesy-beetsy image [which is a blah and definitely bland]. I can visualize her doing that strong eastern asian lass which she should take advantage right now. No to doing Honey Lee 2.0. Hell to the nooo!!! She can leave her own mark.
Basin on her current photos, diamond in the rough! Enough with being in the SAFE ZONE, this bitch can give more. I'M FRIGGIN' SERIOUS. I'm no fan of Korean beauty/fad, they look clones to me, but this one.........she has it. That oomph thing going on, but needs a little push that's why I really want her to give it out. I hope she doesn't waste her potential to be a frontrunner for asia coz can really put that "oriental beauty" brand in the limelight after sooooooo many years [way better than LuoZilin, hope i got that right. WHOEVER SHE IS. LOL!]. I remember the golden years of Miss Universe where, though not crown winners, Korean reps standout esp in NC round..... Anyway, imma keep her on my track and wish she doesn't waste her chances for this year's Miss Universe otherwise expect to clap.
FOR THE LOVE OF hdufhuihgetyergerdfhs, DON'T BLEND IN!!! *high hopes fo this bitch. honestly.

and yeah, she needs to tone her legs...I feel so bad that these girls are pressed to work out like crazy when very few people are gym freaks in real life, but reality is that if you wanna make it in Miss Universe you have to look your absolute best, face and body-wise.

You are blind! I am jwjosh, former ambassador of Korea.
This is first time to confess in forum.
I was innocent when I joined Misso. Ambassador tag made me proud myself but otherwise that made me not enjoy pure pageantry. I gave up that tag. Ambassador tag was too heavy for me.
Look at the same mediocre english skills.
That's totally me.
It was fun when I join forum again. Bitch personality was born at that time!
Don't ask why I changed account. I might banned if I reveal the reason.

So I agree with you.
At least she is great Miss Korea winner in recent few years.
If she couldn't make it in Miss Universe 13, it's okay, because Korea 'was' powerhouse at 1950's but not anymore.
Hope she place this years Miss Universe 13, at least top 16.

East asian's leg is short, torso is long. If someone gain weight, East asian's leg is more looking fat than caucasian and black people. It's not easy to tone legs by the way.
She have to pay everything. Dress, Shoes, jewelry, except airline ticket and franchise fee.
She have to hire personal trainer own herself.

.Huh? don't settle for anything less!!! If yo girl has the goods, then by all means.....!
I have no sash favoritism in pageantry, it's just that, it's irritating to see a potential rep fading in the greys....
I'm no fan of HL either (but she's not bad & her stint was memorable enough).
Anyway, one forumer here was also right, SHE must "WANT" it first or else, it's useless. It will depend on her attitude, whether she's in it to win it girl or just a ticket to stardom in her country. Why not hit 2 birds at once. Still, the choice is hers.
I have a question..... AFTER WINNING THE NATIONAL PAGEANT, DOES SHE HAVE A TEAM TRAINING HER? Or she's left alone on her own after coveting the crown????? just curious........ that's what I've heard from the case of your rep during MU2011.
That training was Sung-hye's choices. MKO never been financially supported 7 winner and runner-ups after Miss Korea pageant.
