Central American countries have other things they are dealing with, so these beauty pageants are really not a priority for Central American countries like they are in other Latin American countries.

I think you guys are judging and just saying that because of the ugly T-Rex monster that represented El Salvador in 2011, but she is not a representative of the delegates El Salvador has sent in general, but before her, El Salvador has had it's fare share of pretty decent and beautiful delegates in the past, yes I do admit that El Salvador's has not been doing a good job in choosing its delegates in these last several years but Ana Yancy has been more than improvement and more than a upgrade for what happened last year and Im not saying Ana Yancy is a BIG DEAL or anything but she isn't just a pretty girl, I think she can pull surprises if she prepares herself, but I agree with what you said about her being just a clapper , I do not agree about what that other girl said about "She's not bad for being from El Salvador" because it just sound so un fare to say that about El Salvador's Misses in general because El Salvador has had only two ugly Miss El Salvador in my opinion, the rest of the other Miss El Salvador's have been from okay looking to beautiful looking

Tania had a very beautiful face...I would have loved to see her representing your country...She was 170cm, I believe...But that's Jessica Scheel's height and she reached the TOP 10! Ana Yancy is pretty but plain and with a prominent chin, she won't go far IMO. She's not amazing.

THE T-REX WAS SCARY!!!!!! UGHHHHHHH. And I can't judge others 'cause I don't watch Miss Universe for a long time. But I've never seen beautiful candidates from El Salvador, they were average or ugly.

Yes Miss T-Rex was a horrible abominable monster but she was the only ugly one that has ever represented El Salvador

I agree, Tania was beautiful but she was too short plus she did a awful job in answering the question because after the judge asked her a question, she spaced off and told him "can you repeat the question?" which is unacceptable and that was ultimately her doom, but if Tania was taller, she would of had been perfect too

I also agree with Evelyn but even though she was beautiful, to me she looked to common and too young

Ana Yancy to me is prefect, I don't see anything wrong with her chin, people would look weird chinless In my opinion
and all of the candidates for El Salvador had the Latina vibe for me, not just Evelyn

hmmm well in Miss Universe, the delegates El Salvador sends are generally pretty but plain
the only ugly one iv seen has been the 2011 creature from outer galactic space
but the delegates El Salvador send are mostly never ugly, they are just common plain pretty
and this is because El Salvador lacks interest for Miss Universe ever since the Civil War occurred

About Tania's question answering, yes it can happen to anyone but that lowered her points in the eyes of the judges since the others answered the questions more acceptably. I did not like Norma's face, I only liked by this order Ana Yancy, Tania, Nancy, Evelyn, and Magali

It's the same thing with Europe. Yet, we have many beautiful gals. And I prefer Johanna & Sheldry than Viviana (tranny-looking) and Vanessa (old-looking).

Ok here is what I think
the make-up on Ana Yancy is great and she is beautiful
but what I still do not get is why they make her those quinceañera curls on her, even more when she is in a bathing suit It does not look right
and I still do not get why they keep putting that damn crown on her.
a straight hair style would be more suitable for her bathing suit pictures
and they should tone it down with those curls, I liked how she looked when she won the crown best
