Shall the runners-up shall get to represent Costa Rica in any pageants ? How many runners-up will there be ?

The other pageant has recently selected the winners to MW, MI, ME and ( I think ) Miss Interncontinental.

This appears to mean that the representatives to Miss Supranational, Reina Hispanoamerica, Miss Continente Americano, and Coffee Queen are still up for grabs.

Whoever wins Miss Costa Rica Universe, I sincerely believe that Guadaloupe, Ivonne, Estefania and possibly Nazareth ( well, a touch of rhinoplasty could really improve the balance of her face ) could make great representatives for the country.

I think you can guess from the font colour who is my prediction list choice to win the title of Miss Costa Rica Universe 2012 :-*

TZZ thanx for ur observations!!! Channel 7 owner of Miss CR only elects Miss CR Universe. In the past, runner ups have been sent to other pageants Like Mariana Loranca nd Natalia Gomez, both of them winning their respective pageants. MISS INTERNATIONAL MISS EARTH WORLD HISPANOAMERICANA…etc etc are elected by Reinas de Costa Rica owner of those franchises.

I think it's such a pity that apparently, only the winner of Miss Costa Rica Universe shall compete internationally - what a waste of beauty !

Indeed, hopefully Reinas de CR can encourage these girls to participate in other pageants like Mariana & Natalia and the two runner ups from this edition.

Id send Natalia or mariana to one of the grand slam pagesnts next year.

aw I hope not, she might have a good body but she looks "sleepy"... Maybe with some botox and eyebrows lift she could look fresher but I preffer Ivonne and Guadalupe anyday, anytime.

Guadalupe, sometimes I get the feeling she doesn't take the time to look her best. That's gonna hurt her chances… IVONNE AND NAZARETH STILL AHEAD.
