I SUPER AGREE NINA. Losing so much in recent years is very telling of the management and direction they have been applying.
1. Paula and Shawn are both under Donald as well but they had Donald's vision to support them. Now that they are on their own (obviously IMG is letting them be as long as they are self sustaining), they are rambling and not to know what to do
2. They started off in the right direction with the Steve Harvey incident but obviously they took a Miss America route ---- all advocacy, all talk, lessen glamour
3. I think this edition has become to Philippine-centric (swimwear, shoes, skincare, voting, etc), it is a good opportunity and a good platform for the designers but former sponsors are global brands, encompassing borders
Whats happening inside MUO?

I think there's a lack of genuine Passion for Beauty Pageants in the administration or at least not as passionate as Nawat with Grand or Morley with BWAP. They seem contempt monetizing the views and clicks. They also seem to have an identity crisis. They totally changed the dynamics to please a Network to no avail. They now set sail in Asia, an already saturated market with Grand, Earth, International and soon Charm too. Leaving the Hemisphere of the Americas clear for World and Grand to get well established and also Powerful Networks like Telemundo and Univision to take into frution their plans to create their own International Pageant. Univision alone has so many Networks in the US and such big coast to coast coverage they could really kick a weakened Miss Universe easily if they went ahead with their plans. MUO without a US Network is now more equalized with other International Pageants than ever before.
