1:57~ Osaka was cute!!!!! but was lacking in training.
Gunma was underestimated.
Saitama and Kumamoto were overestimated...

I've watched this. Mr. Osaka looks like a teen Archie Andrews.

We know you don't appreciate Asian beauty mr electriccat but that doesn't mean Mr. Kanagawa has an unattractive face. Many picked him because of his looks. If you were fair, you would admit that Mr. Osaka too does not have a manly face.

Er...Where this came from? What are you talking about? @-) I've never said that the winner has an unattractive face. He isn't bad, he looks masculine which is a plus, but at the same time he's not my cup of tea. As far as I remember I've only commented on Kunamoto's face being hideous.

BTW, I do in fact appriciate Asian beauty. If I didn't I wouldn't follow this pageant. LOL. If you follow my posts so closely, you better check my various predications and tops. You would see that most of my faves have Asian background. 8-}

Why are you writing under different username pfierr? 8-}

Well you did. You removed your post. You specifically said that you had no problems with Mr. Kanagawa but that when it came to looks, he had no assets. You didn't say he was not your cup of tea. You said that he had the body and all, but when it came to looks, he didn't have it.

Kumamoto did not deserve to be in the top 5 and the batch was very weak. But your bias was evident when you made that comment about Mr. Kanagawa. If you won't perplexed with that statement of yours, you wouldn't have removed it and you may call me crazy and all but both you and me as well as those few who viewed your post know that you said that before you removed it. 8-}

All I said was that his face isn't that attractive to me personally (that means the same as "he isn't my cup od tea"!) especially compared with Osaka, but I aknowledge that he isn't bad in general, has a great body and many people can find him attractive. I was only saying that I would personally always pick a guy with more good looking face over a body.

You didn't say that. You said something in the lines of he had the body and that you had no problems with him winning but when it came to his face, he didn't have it. Not that it was your preference but you specifically mentioned that he wasn't good-looking. Ah, but you deleted your post so you can say whatever you like.

In case he deletes this. I understand unmanly, asexual, etc. being attributed to the subject. But neotenic, that's a downright racial reference and it's so obvious he attributed those previous two characteristics to neoteny. His blatant fire towards Mr. Kumamoto also carried such terms over the fact that Mr. Osaka did not himself look manly or formidable since he was only 18 and needed time to mature.

Then he made that remark about Mr. Kanagawa which was very different from his other remarks about Mr. Kanagawa and abruptly deleted it. Shucks! At one moment, I was thinking of quoting him.

He always has problems with Asian titleholders and doesn't hesitate to pick the mixed candidates in Asian national pageants.

Neoteny refers to Neo-Mongoloid. Peoples of such race generally have softer features giving them less rugged look and smooth skin or in your words "unmanly" features. It's something people can't help just as Ariana Miyamoto can't control her dark skin. And don't expect Mr. Japan to crown representatives according to your liking. In order of that to happen, go and create your own pageant. Mr. Osaka was not manly looking and you liked him. Oh-oh. And btw, no matter how hot that Hokkaidan Mr. Japan was, he had no communication skills which is why he failed in Mr. World 2010.

Mr Japan 2016 winner (Mr Kanagawa) is 182cm tall. He's a swimming coach, swimmer and surfer (surfing is one of his hobbies). His special skills are swimming and English. He's also an earth warrior. He's done beach clean-up by collecting trash back in Chigisaki, Kanagawa. Check out his instagram masaya_ymgs and his twitter im_masaya. Very proud of him. Supporting him all the way for Mister International 2016.

I see lots of potential in him. If he wins, I'll be so glad for Japan because he deserves to be a winner from Japan!

I agree with you so many people in this forum kiss halfies butt but never appreciate whats infront of them. So many beautiful asian people are ignored in this forum and unlike many here I am happy that Kanagawa won, he truly looks and represents the warrior from the land of the rising Sun - JAPAN ! Osaka is just a cute boy but not a man yet.

I liked Mr. Osaka too but Mr. Osaka was so kawaii and didn't have muscles. I have no problems with that but mr. electriccat contradicted his opinions because he said an unmanly man can never be appealing.

Damn. Why do I always miss the good guys at first glance until the pageant is over. Mr. Gunma is sooo hot! Someone from Japan should send him to Manhunt International this year. They don't have the franchise for that or Mr. Globe International but they should totally get those and send these hotties who are already ready to win it.

He is so Sekushī and manly.

Sugoi ne! There were so many gorgeous candidates this year! I was tooooo late!

Anyways, I love the winner! Osaka looked great, too! I hope he reappears in the pageant scene in the near future when he is more mature.

And, I, Rony Mercury, a demigoddess and an apostle of Emroy, the god of war, violence, and death, will be waiting for these boys to come at me. :"> :"> :">

I'll just share this here, former Mr. Oasaka Sean Osada, together with Miss Universe Philippines 2013, is featured in a 4 part series ‘I Dream of Japan’ on ANC.
