So I have great news for you all, tomorrow we will crown Miss Earth Puerto Rico 2021 at 7pm (PR time) and apparently they will give out two crowns. I do not know yet if that means crowning the 2021 and 2022 queens or two different pageants, I have no details yet. If you want to make a prediction I'd suggest you add a "Queen #2, Alternate Queen or 2022 Queen", just saying.

My Queen 1 is San Juan and Queen 2 is San Sebastian. I have a soft spot for Cabo Rojo because of her angelic face but I think she doesn't have the wow factor like the first 2 that I mentioned. San Juan looks like she's the most prepared one but San Sebastian is also a welcome surprise. Her beauty is raw, much like Nellys and she has a lot of room for improvement. I trust Joe and Vanessa because I feel like they can transform a girl into a queen with their guidance and preparation

Also I think the other crown/title they will award is the Iconic Model Search.

If I have to choose only one winner for Best National Costume I choose Venezuela

Hands down the best national costume a Miss Venezuela ever worn in any pageant on Earth and the Universe !

Approved! Venezuela looks so classy and elegant here. I love the styling of her hair and the natcos itself.

At first, I didn't get her natcos, but on closer scrutiny, I now appreciate the details and how the whole ensemble reflects her culture, the dos karas and Carabobo arch. But the most undeniable thing is how the beauty of her face was not drown with the look but even highlights it.

Hands down! Venezuela must win gold medal for her Natcos. This is Natcos is very creative yet full of symbolism. I love that she spoke in her native language to explain her Natcos as I appreciated it more.

We have same choices. San Juan is stunningly beautiful and she just need more personality development. She will be a massive force next year as she have ample time to train and be ready by October.

San Sebastian has improved a lot. She is very driven.

Surprisingly, none of them picked Venezuela. I think, the QnA is their issue. Hopefully, Venezuela defies the odds. I really want her to be in Final4.

Manoypoe, you are correct, Venezuela’s weakness is her Q and A. If she wants to win, she should speak Spanish! Use an interpreter! team venezuela! LISTEN! I am not surprised the panel didn’t choose her. It’s pretty consistent

I think there is something missing with Venezuela that doesn't connect. She is perfect in all aspects, but I just don't get the feel of who she is. The same feeling I have with Myanmar to a lesser extent. It's not even the overproduction by their hardworking national orgs since Thailand and Philippines are both overproduce as well but their personality just shines through. Still, I won't discount Venezuela as she might bring that x-factor come finals night.

This year has been very challenging for all of us. We've confronted mightily the difficult Health and Economic, Mental, Environmental, and Political problems as a community, and as a nation.

I couldn't be so proud that we have surpassed these, by relying on each of our arms.

This has been the source of my strength when I walked through the virtual stage, and now, whole-heartedly, battle it out, with my all, like I've never been before, to prove that, we are worthy of the title of Miss Earth.

As the final week of the contest approaches, I honor you all for showing up, contributing, and even promoting our cause, in whatever way you are able to.

I am sending you my overflowing gratitude and my love.

I hope that you will continue to shout our country's name with pride, even at the end, and don't lose the spark that we've ignited but instead, continue to lay down ourselves, our dear NIGERIA on track for the best like no one has ever imagined it to be!

Most of the questions are directed to Colombia and Myanmar. Argentina's interpreter has difficulties in the internet connection. Luckily a Venezuelan press asked the question in Spanish. I think it really helped her to be more comfortable. Canada, as usual, delivered her answer really well She might go as far as Top 8!

"Based on your eco-video, you are a nurse by profession and I would like to thank you for your service during the Covid-19 pandemic. I also think you raised an important issue which is the proper disposal of single use masks because it is also a prevailing issue here in the Philippines. My question is what environmental lesson can we learn from the Covid-19 pandemic?"

My second and last question was more of a simpler one which was kindly answered by Canada and Kenya.
"I would like to ask a simple question. Any delegate is welcome to answer and share their experience. This is just to lighten things up. I am curious, from a delegate’s perspective, which requires a more rigorous preparation, the live pageant or the virtual pageant?"

This is my first virtual press meeting and I would appreciate any suggestions for the questions. I kinda realized late that I should have asked a lighter question since they are probably too tired of answering environmental ones. Also, I miss the live pageant where we can interact with other press and make chika during dinner

About the press conference, how I wished this was done earlier before the pre-pageant is over so that Carousel can watch and score these ladies in this conference. I am so impressed with Denmark in this batch. If she gets to the top 20 she might climb all the way to the top 4 and might snatch one of the titles from our favorites. Colombia also surprises me. I thought pa relax relax na lang sila ang competitive pa rin nila grabe.
