Terzic announces long list for Olympics
Zoran Terzic, coach of the women's volleyball team of Serbia, announced Friday the long list of players for the Olympic Games in London.
The list comprises: Maja Ognjenovic, Bojana Zivkovic, Danica Radenkovic, Jovana Brakocevic, Sanja Starovic, Ana Bjelica, Suzana Cebic, Nina Rosic, Natasa Krsmanovic, Milena Rasic, Nadja Ninkovic, Stefana Veljkovic, Jovana Stevanovic, Jovana Vesovic, Tijana Malesevic, Brankica Mihajlovic, Ivana Djerisilo, Sanja Malagurski, Ana Lazarevic, and Jelena Blagojevic.
The Serbian team will be part of Group B together with China, South Korea, Turkey, the United States and Brazil, and four teams from each of the two groups will reach the quarterfinals.
Serbia's Olympics opener is scheduled against China on July 28 at 12:30 CET.
Kolakovic announces long list for Olympics
Igor Kolakovic, coach of the men's volleyball team of Serbia, announced Friday the long list of players for the Olympic Games in London.
The list comprises: Vlado Petkovic, Mihajlo Mitich, Aleksa Brdjovic, Sassa Starovic, Aleksandar Atanasijevic, Dusan Petkovic, Nikola Rosic, Filip Vujic, Dragan Stankovic, Marko Podrascanin, Milan Rasic, Dejan Radic, Srecko Lisinac, Bojan Janic, Nikola Kovacevic, Milos Nikic, Uros Kovacevic, Milos Terzic, Nemanja Petric, and Marko Ivovic.
The Serbian players departed Wednesday for preparations in Kranjska Gora, northwest Slovenia, where they will stay by July 14, and their first match at the Olympic Games is scheduled against the U.S. on July 29 at 17:45 CET.
Besides Serbia, Group B also includes Tunisia, Germany, Brazil, and Russia, and four teams from each of the two groups will reach the quarterfinals.
