KATHMANDU: “We have worked hard. As the fruit of hard work is sweet, I am optimistic that we will achieve substantial outcome and give Nepal recognition at the international pageant through our training and the support that we have received,” Miss Nepal 2012 Shristi Shrestha expressed at the Send Off Press Meet for Miss World, Miss Earth and Miss International Beauty Pageants organised on July 15 at Hotel de ’l Annapurna.
The press meet was held to bid farewell to Shristi, Miss Nepal Earth Nagma Shrestha, and Miss Nepal International Subeksha Khadka to their respective competitions.
At the meet, Nagma shared, “I am looking forward to go to Bali for Miss Earth. I will give my best in the international arena.” Subeksha, on the other hand, thanked everyone for allowing them to prove themselves.
With all the training — personality development to make-up to soul searching — that was emphasised more this time, Subarna Chhetri, advisor of The Hidden Treasure hopes “the contestants will benefit from it”.
Girendra Man Rajbansi, one of the directors of The Hidden Treasure, has big expectations from Shristi as “she is apt for the pageant with her involvement in modelling and with her having lived in the UK”.
