Irie likes to tease us. He has been alluding to some changes in Miss Earth in the US for some time. But he hasn't elaborated on anything yet. I'm still waiting for his promised scoops.

IT SHOULD BE NOBODY COZ YOU KNOW. A FEW IS AWARE OF MISS EARTH EXISTENCE. BUT SLOWLY AND SURELY, THEY WILL BE AWARE.

So the franchise is in the hands of the current owner until ...?

To give credit where credit is due, Evan Skow always sends competitive women to Miss Earth as evidenced by the placement streak the US is enjoying currently. And then to top it all...we just won back to back elemental crowns. The women who participated in the Miss Earth United States pageant have always provided great feedbacks. Most enjoyed their experience and felt that the pageant treats everyone like family (which is how Carousel treats its delegates). Perhaps that's Evan's secret recipe. That's why the American delegates in the international pageant have done so well and appeared to be well liked. Their national experience reflects on their ultimate performances during the international event.
My one wish is for Evan to bring the Miss Earth experience to new heights should he keep the franchise. It would be nice to have a representative from every state for a change. That's a formidable challenge since most pageant girls are obsessed with either Miss America or Miss USA. But I believe it's doable.

With that talent and new directorship, more funding, more connections, Miss Earth could be a major deal in the USA! Miss World America was in its first year and filled all states. It's nice to be nice, but Miss Earth deserves more exposure and FAST!

They need to be more transparent/visible next year. I remember last year's edition was low profiled.

You have a point there. The franchise has been in their hands for 10 years. And instead of improvement, the team tends to go downhill but thanks to Andrea, Britanny and perhaps to Siria, too, for doing a wonderful job as Miss Earth United States.
I have nothing against the US Earth team. I can sense that they're doing their best but there might be something wrong on how they manage the pageant. All I'm after for is the Miss Earth system be known in the entire United States.
But at least US Earth pageant's team can be felt unlike the team from up here. I hope Canada will have the opportunity it deserves for Miss Earth.
