HI guys

ive recently recieved alot of messages on facebook from past miss india contestants and girls from i am she/ future miss india contestants who said they dont want to go for Miss Universe India or even apply for it because apparently the pageant is already fixed for Urvashi and she is already the winner of Femina Miss Universe India? upto 16 different girls have raised some of the following questions....


PERSONALLY I THINK ITS SHEER JEALOUSY! AND THE GIRLS FEEL INTIMIDATED... EVEN IF YOU LOOK ON FACEBOOK PAGES URVASHI IS BEING BASHED BY SO MANY SO CALLED 'FAKE PROFILES' .... similar happened to Aishwarya rai in 1994. when girls found out she was entering they backed out

* Why was Urvashi at the 'Femina/Times of India welcome dinner, when she has nothing to do with femina?

* The party was only for 'femina regional winners/runner up' which urvashi had nothing to do with?

* Why did Femina not make it official they have Miss Universe franchise only until Missosology leaked it out when Miss Universe organisation confirmed it was with femina? so femina had no choice but to finally confirm they had franchise which they then did the very next day after missosology confirmed it?

* Urvashi was Miss Universe India 2012 but due to age she had to resign.. so femina has handpicked her to represent India this year?

* On one of Femina's official facebook pages urvashi's fan page was 'liked' by femina miss india, alot of girls raised up why her fan page was liked? since then femina removed it?

does anyone know any truth to any of this? because alot of girls are getting quite bitchy and catty and ive noticed urvashi is getting alot of slack on the net.. is femina going to send Urvashi this year.. and start the pageant from 2014.....????

Firstly, most of the questions raised contradict themselves!!

1. Urvashi was invited to a dinner with other contestants to meet Julia Morley NOT Donald Trump. If Urvashi is indeed the fixed winner of Miss Universe India 2013 then what good would it do Femina to have her interact with the Julia Morley who hates everything Miss Universe. The dinner wasn't for regional winners and runners up. It was to introduce Morley to potential contenders for the Femina title which is why regional runners up were also there even though many of them won't make the final cut. Urvashi is an invited contestant hence it makes sense. Other contestants weren't selected by then.
Plus you really don't know how Miss Universe org would react when they find out a girl they turned down last year shows up the very next year. They may be offended because they were the ones to disqualify her in the first place. From that logic, it only makes sense for Urvashi to represent India at Miss WOrld/Earth/International this year so no one looks negatively on her.
2. Femina will NEVER hand pick a winner. Their reputation is bigger than an international title. Harshita Saxena was Miss India earth but had to resign. Femina loved her. They even didn't want her to resign and were trying to make it work out with Maureen Wadia. She came back next year as an invite skipping the audition process hoping for a better placement and everyone said because of her title last year she was guaranteed a Top 3 spot. Guess what, she failed to make Top 3 because her answer wasn't as good as the girls who did.
With Urvashi, its the same. If she wins its based on her own merit and if she doesn't then its because there are better girls out there.

Now about Urvashi -
I think Urvashi is very pretty and I was a huge supporter of her last year when she competed for I AM SHE because she was the most appropriate representative last year to Miss Universe. Femina is a different beast though. The quality level of girls at Femina is very high which is why girls like Esha Gupta sometimes fade because there are others like Puja Gupta who are just as beautiful but are also eloquent and confident. Urvashi is very pageant patty with her answers and not the smartest. She seems to try too hard to sound smart but fails miserably. Her QnA portion at I AM SHE was horrible and even when she was a contestant at FACT TEEN MISS INDIA she only made Top 5 and lost out on the QnA round. She speaks with broken grammar. Read her facebook profile.... It starts with "Dear Concern". She has to improve on those skills because this is a very competitive batch with a lot of stunners. If she does, she could snatch the Miss Universe India crown but there maybe girls like Nicole Faria who have a lot more sex appeal and are eloquent that enter the contest.
Personally, I think Urvashi should enter Femina Miss India because there are 3 titles to grab. There is a chance she may place 4th and because of the training she receives at Miss India win Miss Universe India.

It's still anybody's game.

in 1994 all girls BACKED out when they heard AISHWARYA RAI was taking part !! It took only ONE SUSHMITA SEN TO PROVE everyone wrong !!

YES URVASHI IS strong and MILES MILES MILES ahead of what we have seen in FEMINA MISS INDIA 2013 so far! And if you Succumb defeat at FIRST STEP you never were a WINNER !!!

URVASHI is technically a REIGNING INTERNTAIONAL QUEEN and a REIGNING MISS INDIA!! Something she has ACHIEVED ALREADY what these GIRLS are just DREAMING NOW !!!

SO TO THESE WHINY Girls get up and pull out a SUSHMITA !! You need to be a DIAMOND to cut out another DIAMOND ! Dont just be there like a charcoal and BURN out in JEALOUSY

Im not Indian but I will share my opinion anyway. Fixed or not, URVASHI deserves to win and will surely be a contender for Miss U crown, a huge comeback for India i may say should she be sent to Miss U. I am confident she will give the other candidates a run for their money.

i can understand why some girls may be apprehensive about applying and i dont think femina did themselves any favours by inviting urvashi to that dinner party! Its a real shame that most girls feel like that but i really hope girls like swati, ravneet etc still apply! i don't believe the winner has been pre-decided, why go through all that expense of training, grooming, prizes, auditions etc?!

well, lot of people here criticize urvashi for being dumb. First of all, she is not dumb.
the problem is she isnt articulative. She picks up words to explain her points. Such girls
usually wont go further than a top 10 at Femina Miss India. Of course she is smart, but not loud like Vaannnyya, who yells out to answer!!

Then abt Intl pageants, esp, Miss Universe. .Well this pageant provides more entertainment than boring cookery shows . (Mostly MU cooks well )
We had brainy girls like Vasuki sunkavalli , Ekta Choudary , Tanusree Dutta , Neha Dhupia , a lot of bigmouths. but did anyone get a chance to showcase it at MU???
..Never.... there lies the truth. For eg, If Tanushree had entered Top 5 at MU'04, she would hav been the deadly dangerous competition to Jennifer Hawkins, and even wud've given an overpowering answer . Same is the case with Puja, Neha, Nikita, Ekta etc, etc... Tanushree, Puja, Neha Dhupia etc collapsed in the top 10...where venezuela, puerto rico, brazil, australia etc overtook them. It shows physical beauty is a must when it comes to MU...

Urvashi is a stunner, ie a fact. Deal with it. The Sour grapers shud find some other business.
