Saina wins bronze after Wang retires hurt.
Wang was leading 21-18, when play was abandoned following her injury.
Wang won the first game despite the injury she suffered at the end of the first game. She came back in the second game to win a point but the injury haunted again before finally pulling out of the match.
Whatever, the fact is Saina won the bronze medal!
Saina created a history by winning a medal in badminton at olympic games.
I just love her! Peaple may not be that much happy because of the way she won.
It was Wang Xin's injury which made her retire from the match and Saina was declared the winner.
Even Saina herself was not looking that happy with such a victory.
But I think Saina deserves the medal.
I congratulate all the Indians for 3rd medal in the Olympics 2012!

WELL, I HAVE FOLLOWED ALL HER MATCHES AT THE OLYMPICS AND WHOEVER DID SO WILL NOT TAKE IT AS A SURPRISE. BE IT HER WINNING MATCH OR LOOSING, SHE WAS READY TO FIGHT BACK AT EVERY MOMENT, SHOWN DETERMINED AND NOT CARRYING THE 'OH MY GOOD, WHAT SHOULD I DO NEXT!' LOOK LIKE THAT INDIAN GUY WHO LOST IN THE Q. FINALS.
When I answered a stupid girl's allegations politely, my posts were removed. Is this a forum? Shame on you ADMIN.

The Indian guy you are talking about is Kashyap.
I don't think Kashyap was that bad. We must understand the mental pressure he had during the match. The opponent was
World no 2 and seed no 1! Kashyap was not even expected to qualify for the Olympics!! I think he also did very well :=p

Saina will always be my favorite! =c3 =c3 =c3

Reaching the semi itself is already a big achievement for her. I had expected the top 4 to be filled up by the chinese, koreans, danish or the japanese. No one expected India to be up there.
